Make Immediate Adjustments To The Revised Items Screen On The Website Version of Clover
Just when you think they can't possibly make this worse, the new Items screen on the Clover website is a perfect example of adding more work and time to something that WAS NOT broken.
First, cost needs to be on the main screen. I can't understand why this is not there. You can't sort the items on the screen to how you want to be visually displayed, nor can you adjust the size of each field. The search field MUST include the product code!! The UPC code is in the product code field. Our products, and I will safely say the majority of retail stores who use Clover use the UPC code to scan and sell their products. How on Earth can you not have that as default!!
Then, entering a new item is now a maze of multiple clicks and again this is overengineered. Instead of keeping it simple, quick and easy, the programmers have gone to great lengths to make it more tedious to enter in an item.
I can appreciate the effort, but when you sit down and think about tearing something down to make it better, the first thing is to make it better...not make it harder, more difficult and more time consuming for the end users of the product.

Before as soon as we start tying things would start listing and no we have to hit enter all they time.
Adding more inventory is all the way down and we have to do tons of scrolling when we get so many items everyday.
Anytime we click back to item list we have to type every time for the item.

We have a clover POS for our small business. its was very user friendly both on the POS side and on the website to add products and change products. As time has passed there have been tons of updates that make no sense for us as a business. I thought an update is supposed to make life easier. The recents update was probably the worst of all time. It made it more difficult to do tasks.
1. To search on product nothing get populated until you hit enter.
2. To add more products it takes more time now than before.
3. Now POS is ruining slower than before.
There are more but I will only write about this musch. I think this email will probably get ignored and nothing will happen. IF you really CARE about your customer you should reach out to them and listen to them once in a while. -
This is my biggest complaint with making it harder for business doing more work.
