The restaurant I work at uses clover. When I split the bill by guests or start closing a table out the clover system doesn’t allow me to go back to the main screen or review the tables check. So if one person wants to close out before the rest of their table, the handheld device will get stuck on the one table until the full bill is paid.

Is there a feature that allows for partial payment while still treating the table as “active”? For example, if one person needs to close out to leave before the rest of their table but other people want to order more drinks?
