Welcome to the Clover Services Forum.  You're here because you are a Clover Services merchant and would like to submit ideas that you feel would enhance/improve Clover's current offerings in the Services space. 

In order to submit your idea you'll need to give it a Title then select the Category that best matches your idea.  Below are brief descriptions of the Clover Retail Categories.



Here are quick descriptions of each category so that you can easily locate and post ideas in the correct place!


Appointments: Ideas related to Clover’s Appointment software.

Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.

Hardware: Ideas related to Clover hardware in the Restaurant space

Inventory: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clover’s inventory management software.

Orders: Ideas relating to the process of creating and managing Orders.

Reporting: Ideas relating to improving and enhancing Clover’s reporting.

Website: Ideas related to your Clover branded website.

  1. Clover Compact and SaaS Plan Selection

    Sample Real Life Case: Merchant only has the Clover Go app on mobile to process payments. Merchant is currently using inventory through the Clover Go app on mobile. Merchant purchases a Clover Compact, which is provisioned to the Clover account. All but the Payments SaaS plan are removed leaving the merchant unable to use the inventory features. Please fix!

  2. No opening drawer ringing.

    No opening drawer ringing.
    This is the only register system I have ever seen (forty plus years in retail) that allows transaction to be rung while the cash drawer is open this is rife with issues. You cant' keep honest people honest if you don't have the single most basic physical base covered.

  3. UX design for card reader

    I am a UX designer and I use your card ready often at my local coffee shop. Almost every time i use it, I mindlessly pull my card out too early. I paid attention to why I am doing this and it’s because you are using the same animation to insert the card as you do to remove the card. When this animation plays to insert the card, I have already inserted my card, so for a split second, I think it’s prompting me to remove it. I suggest you either only play this animation if someone has not yet…
