Reviews
Recently, we downloaded an app. The functionality and support we received from the developer were horrid. As a result, we left a negative review. The review was up for 1-2 months and has since been removed. We contacted Clover to find out how and why this was done. We were told that developers have the discretion to remove reviews. So in a nut shell, there is no transparency. If a developer decides to remove bad removes, their 5-star rating is totally skewed. It's not accurate. How do you guys allow these developers to pick and choose what reviews they keep or get rid of? This is certainly not very fair for potential customers looking to pay and use an app. Kindly advise.

Unfortunately, the review system that Clover has on apps does not reflect the actual quality of applications. If an app is performing or has horrible customer service, this reflects badly not only on the developer but on Clover as well. For apps to improve their services, Clover should develop a function where merchants can file a report or claim on an application for Clover to follow up with the developer and are forced to follow up with complaints. That way apps can actually improve and take customers seriously.
