There are a lot of ways to take a payment. Provide your ideas to help advance Clover’s payments acceptance process here. We are listening and we use this feedback to prioritize our roadmap.


Here are quick descriptions of each category so that you can easily locate and post ideas in the correct place!


1. Virtual Terminal: Provide all feedback on the Virtual Terminal in this category. How can we make this solution more useful for merchants?

2. Refunds/Exchanges: If you have any feedback on Clover’s refund or exchange functions please let us know here.

3. Recurring Payments: Share your thoughts on accepting recurring payments here. Tell us how we can improve.

4. Invoicing: Is there any functionality that can be added to our systems to enhance the invoicing feature? Put your ideas in this forum category.

5. Voids: How can we make voiding a transaction easier and simpler? Tell us your suggestions to improve this payment feature.

6. Invoicing: Share your thoughts on invoicing here. Tell us how we can improve.

7. Discounts: Ideas in the forum category should talk about the built-in Clover discounts feature which can be found in your dashboard. How can we make giving discounts easier and more effective?

8. Taxes: What functionality can be added or improved to make charging and managing taxes easier.

9. Tipping: How can we enhance Clover’s tipping options to benefit merchants, employees, and customers? Place all ideas related to tipping here.

  1. Apparently all automotive merchants (according to this merchant) utilize Mitchell 1 Software in their industry. I recommend Clover integrates with it to offer the ability to process transactions as he said their pricing is extremely high and they don't have options. Just a thought.

    Hello, 

    Mitchell 1 could integrate with our Semi-Integrated solutions to offer it to Clover merchants. An integration initiated from our side does not align with our current priorities.

    Apologies for the delayed response. 

    This can be done today. Build an order with items in register, tap Pay, then tap Mail/Phone Order. Merchants may need to enable manual entry in their settings.

  3. Need to have a field for customer name. Had a chargeback on phone sale and no idea who it was for.

  4. There are clients for whom merchant would like provide In-House service/delivery/takeout of the items.

    This In-House items/service will be billed or invoiced once a month and they would like to get a signature option to be printed with the custom tender type sales to record the pickup/delivery.

    Is it possible to add something in that nature to ease up the confusion of if the item/service was received or not.

    Thank you for your suggestion, but this request does not align with our current priorities. We would recommend looking for a semi-integrated solution that supports this signature workflow on our devices.

  5. Merchant is requesting for the price of the transaction to be included on the Signature Screen. Stated they have had several customers who've expressed being uncomfortable signing and not be able to make that final confirmation of the amount.

    Thank you for your suggestion, but this request does not align with our current priorities. We would recommend that merchants void transactions in this case. There are upcoming enhancements to our void/refund workflows.
