on the first page of new sale, we type in the customers name and the amount of the charge. The receipt should show customer name as typed
the old app before the upgrade some months ago would show customer name that we typed on the actual receipt that we print. now the new upgraded app does not show the customer name. We use this customer name in all our billing process and bank reconciliation process; why change something that is working good. change it back!

A more in depth search option for plu merchants like grocery stores
The Clover does not allow for more advanced searching capabilities such as plu for grocery stores which is crucial for business with large inventory and bulk inventory. When My merchant searches let's say 222 it comes up with all items that have 222 in them and the grocery store assistant has to scroll down forty plus options to get to the item. authorization
the authorization on the mobile ap being the same phone number as the computer/desktop platform is not acceptable because the computer that will be at the store will not be with the phone (with the card reader) that will be at a fair. and the fair will WAY too loud to hear a phone ring to be tending to the needs of the store. not to mention leaving customers to take a phone call is rude. so either the store will not be able to use the computer platform or the fair will not be able to take payments. we…

Include inventory listings (to tap on) in the “payments” plan instead of using text. I
I have only one device. For years, I could simply tap on a “description” of the service I was charging for. It automatically generated the category and the price. The feature was free. When I heard that I would no longer be “grandfathered” in at that free level, I was informed that I could still have the feature if I upgraded to “essentials”. Truthfully the increase to $14.95/month or approx $180/year is not worth the feature. Because I can certainly “spell out” the service in text as an option.
