  1. Modifiers pricing should have the options to be fixed or variable by percentage. All our catalog is customizable and the prices must vary depending on the quantity and the price of each variable. If a customer orders more (eg. business cards) the modifiers should increase the value by a percentage. Modifiers been fixed, at certain quantity break, make the cost of the items very low or very high. Creating a the same fixed modifier for every quantity would be a gigantic task.

  2. Offer a retail inventory build service for a fee, or develop an AI inventory builder than can be utilized for existing retail merchants that have inventory built in other POS systems (export) or excel/CSV/intuit

  3. Customer needs to reset inventory to zero due to duplicates and triples of items and start with a clean blank inventory/ items. No items in the Clover whatsoever. Currently, Clover makes you bulk edit at 200 items at a time. With over 18000 items this takes over an hour to click and click and click to erase back to zero.

For example, the 3 lines where its export/ import/ print/ item settings to have a reset inventory items to zero. Make the merchant require a 2 factor authentication to actually reset the inventory to zero items to eliminate a chance…

  6. It would be helpful to have the option to move entries between the Item and Category sections. For example, if you accidentally create a large number of categories under the Item section, you currently have to delete them and start over. Instead, there should be a way to transfer them directly into the Category section. Likewise, if you mistakenly add an item into the Category section, you should be able to move it back into the Item section without having to redo everything.

  7. When selecting a Revenue Class while creating or editing an item in Inventory, the dropdown list displays Revenue Classes in the order they were created, rather than alphabetically. This becomes cumbersome for merchants with a large number of Revenue Classes, requiring excessive scrolling to locate the correct one.

    Please consider adding:

    • The ability to sort Revenue Classes alphabetically in the dropdown or
    • A search bar within the dropdown to quickly locate the desired Revenue Class

This small change would significantly improve efficiency when managing inventory.

  11. The User Interface for the inventory app keeps getting worse and worse. New features are fine, in theory, but when they take preeminence over more useful data fields the process to add items becomes more and more difficult.
Specifically, the newer data fields "Online Name" "Online Description" and "This is an age restricted item" have been place above the essential fields like stock, price, and cost. If they insist on adding more useless data fields to every item, at least they could add them at the bottom of the screen. Or, better yet, make those fields toggleable from the settings.…

  12. Please add item pricing type "Per unit" to the new Essentials plan. So it would be "Fixed" "Variable" and "Per Unit" Thank you. Merchants do not want to pay 89.95 a month just to sell per unit

  14. The bulk edit cost used to exist, and this new version of Clover has removed it. It adds HOURS to our inventory. We are able to edit everything else we need in bulk - price, SKU, product, and more, but we have to click in to each individual item to edit the cost, and it is incredibly time consuming and frustrating.

  15. We do not have the ability to turn a normal product into a variant item. This makes things difficult with having to delete and then recreate the item. It would also be great to be able to merge items into one variant item. For example, if I have 15 separate items, I would love to be able to merge them all into one larger item with variants.

We personally have a product with 75 colors that were all entered as their own product. There is no way to merge them or even just convert one into a variant item. We…

  16. We sell fuel by the gallon which is usually measured to the tenth of a gallon, IE 10.2 gallons. The Clover only allows us to pick a whole number which doesn't allow us to charge the customer the proper amount without doing a custom item for just the sale price. This doesn't allow the customer to see what fuel quantity they purchased on their receipt. This would also help companies that sell items by weight.

  17. We need the following option in order to create an automatic discount on certain items bought together.
    1. The ability to bundle items together, to create a new item in the inventory. When this bundle item is bought, all items in the bundle are removed from inventory.

Real life example: if you buy item A, it is $8. If you buy item B, it is $10. If you want to buy both together, it is $15. It is currently impossible to apply this bundle discount on the Online Menu ordering. Also, it can easily be forgotten by employees in shop,…

  18. PLEASE , I beg of you to make COST a bulk edit item, not just Price, When entering a long list from a Purchase order it is ridiculously tedious and time consuming to add each item, variants, then price and have to tap back in to every item to add cost. You HAVE to have Cost associated with Price in order to Map a COGS report . I am so frustrated with this.

  19. Are you able to add the date an item was entered (or last updated date) and the last time it was purchased? This is important because it will help monitor items that sale and items that don't sale. If the item doesn't sale then this could help identify what items should go on sale or be discounted. This could also shape the direction of the store and keep movement within the store. This can also help with all the trends that change on social media. This can also help see items that are doing well in the store.

    For example,…

  20. How about adding a negative variable for certain items. Such as Lotto Winners and Scratcher Winners. We don't want to have to use a Pay Out app when someone brings in a winner. It would need to be a non-revenue item. Most people play again, so why so many steps? I want to be able to hit Lotto Winner as a negative, then a Lotto (same with scratchers) and be done with it. Some have change coming back or some pay more.
