An error occurred while saving the comment Ethan Sineath commentedMerchants need this feature to prevent extra food being made each time an order ticket is not fixed. Even adding a simple text line inline with the item when something is cancelled/deleted/Voided.
IF this is a feature of the new Void reasoning please update all merchants appropriately as nothing new has been put out on this issue.

Is there any update on this issue? Many merchants in a Table Service environment require this feature to operate. Without it our merchants are either forced to use HomeBase (which this is a paid feature) or find another way externally to record cash out per employee.
It seems like per this post that many people need this feature to be in At Least the Table Service package. The original Idea was made in 2020 with no developer comment since then.
Please advise when the public will receive an answer on this issue.

An error occurred while saving the comment Ethan Sineath commentedIn our experience this type of feature is critical in Table Service environments. Most restaurants base staffing and sometimes tablet layout based on the head count of the precious year date.
Over the past year we have had many merchants that were flipped request this and even some that backed away from moving to Clover without this feature being offered.
Is there any update on when this might roll out?

We believe that this option is vital for improving Clover. Other POS systems already offer this feature, which is highly necessary in high-volume online ordering environments. It is unfair for the merchant to have to refund the entire salad if only the added cost of chicken was removed. As mentioned in the OP comment, priced modifiers are extremely common and allow customers to customize their orders. For example, if I order an $11 salad and add chicken & bacon for $3.00 each, my total would be $17.00 + tax. If the kitchen forgets to add my paid additions, as a customer, I would expect to be refunded for the missing items, not the entire salad.
Instead, it would be helpful if they could offer a partial refund based on the item price or the total order price, depending on the situation. This would be a satisfactory solution.
