Welcome to the feedback forum for Apps and the Clover App Marketplace. Please share your ideas for how we can improve the user experience of the Clover App Marketplace as well as how different types of apps offered can be enhanced. We are listening and we use this feedback to prioritize our roadmap.

  1. Add a print status icon to the Clover Dining "tables" and "bar and more" items showing the print status of the table/order. Perhaps a printer logo colored red when nothing has printed, yellow when some item have printed and green when all items on a ticket have printed.

    Similarly add a kds icon perhaps displaying white for no activity, yellow for active orders, red for orders past the bump threshold and green when all items have been bumped.

    These enhancements would allow managers to quickly identify what tables/orders have fired to the kitchen and there completion progress. Takes too much…

  2. Enhancement for Clover Gift Card App --

    When setting up the Clover Gift Card App, enable on-screen prompts for the user so that it prevents them from setting up a secondary gift card entitlement number, causing unnecessary impact to the user. Potential probing prompts on screen, such as:

    1. Do you already have a Gift Card Entitlement Number?

      • If so, enter here ____ - then it would allow user to enter entitlement number, syncing and chaining the location to all other locations which share the same entitlement number
    2. Do you plan to use gift cards at other locations?

      • if yes: prompt…

  3. Online Order should have a "Reset Prices to POS” when we edit the menu prices. When editing the prices and increasing the percentage for the menu, you are able to add a percentage but what happens if you want to go from say 30$ (uber/ Doordash) to 15%. it adds up to 45%

  4. We are unable to accept multiple forms of payments when checks are split by guest. This creates a large headache on busy nights and difficulty closing checks

  6. On the clover app, my patients get a discount every time they get a certain product, however, I cannot send an invoice from the app when a discount has been applied. This should possible.
    Then online, I cannot send an itemized invoice to patients, only a single total, this too should also be able to happen.

  7. The cellular app should show the current device at the top of the list of devices so that the current device can be managed on the device. Also add the nickname and data usage back onto the device so merchants can be sure they are looking up the correct device without having to check the serial number.

    Also add a search option so merchants can search for a different device by nickname or serial number etc. they have without logging in online.

  8. I use USB Pay display and it needs an option to disable manual entry of card numbers. Had a customer scam where they pretended to swipe but entered some other card manually and had a big chargeback dispute.

  9. The clover inventory app should keep tracks of inventory coming in and going out. We want a separate option where employee can only add to the inventory system and cannot deduct without a verification code

  10. On the Sale App, when a transaction is being manually keyed, can a pop up that says "If the card is not present this transaction should be processed using the Phone Sale App?

  11. The Gift Card app is currently unable to accept payment via Telecheck Check. This is a customer service fail; customers will not understand why they can make payments for everything else via Telecheck Check, but not gift cards. Please enable this functionality ASAP.

  12. We are receiving escalations from merchants of being billed for the Wireless Manager when they are using WIFI as they have both the LTE Wireless enabled and WIFI. We need to have a way of sending the LTE capable devices with the wireless manager off only enabled if the client chooses truly needs it enabled.

  13. In Homebase, automatically calculating the amount the server owes the house should have the option to consider gratuities. This is a huge gap in the functionality of the system for majority of our full service restaurant installs.

    The formula usually goes as follows: Cash Sales - Credit Card Tips - Service Charges = Money Owed to the House.

    As I said, this should be an OPTION.

  15. All apps need to be able to have a shortcut button on the lefthand side of the web dashboard. Currently some of the active apps populate a shortcut buttton under the MORE tab but others must be searched for in order to access, open, and review information. Example: SHIFTS app no longer populates on the lefthand side - in order to access time reports you need to select APP MARKET, search SHIFTS in search bar, select SHIFTS then OPEN. Only then can you pull time clock reports.

  16. Ability to search inventory by SKU in Clover Go app. Only possible to do on Clover hardware, not possible on iOS or Android interface. Being in the hardware business, all of our employees think in terms of part numbers, not hardware descriptions. But customers think in terms of descriptions, part numbers are irrelevant to most.

  17. I have an she says that when she is going to send the receipt by text on the mini there is a prefix on the space where she has to type the phone number +54 that she has to erase to then write the cardholder phone number, extra step of erasing the prefix +54 so it's clear to be able to write the phone number. needs to be fixed. tysm

  18. Employees logged in with their own log-in information can now see charges by other employees under the same MID #. Please either remove this functionality or allow a quick filter on the sales tab to only view their current sales. It gets very confusing when multiple employees are running charges simultaneously.

  19. When it comes to the rewards application, it feels like it was built without ever asking a customer, business owner or really anyone what makes sense for user experience. The requirement to download an app in order to take part in your loyalty program immediately creates a high barrier of entry for a rewards program for the customer. As a business, we understand the importance to growth and revenue these programs can have but those stats don't matter if we can not acquire the member to start. People HATE apps. There have been numerous studies that show it.
