Welcome to the feedback forum for Apps and the Clover App Marketplace. Please share your ideas for how we can improve the user experience of the Clover App Marketplace as well as how different types of apps offered can be enhanced. We are listening and we use this feedback to prioritize our roadmap.

  1. Order is keyed on Day 1 but is not paid for until Day 5, Merchant would like the dates to reflect the time the actual transaction was processed instead of the date when the order was initially keyed

  2. Monday morning start of day 0 orders should be in orders app. I've had several customers ask is there anyway they don't see previous days orders on the next day. Should be able to go to prev day, week, etc but just not show in current day orders.

  4. Merchant wants the orders app to be restored to the default way that it was before the app was updated. Merchant stated that the older version was easier to use.

  5. Merchant is requesting an update be added to the shifts application, shifts will generate all types of reports including total amount of hours and minutes for an employees and all of their orders however it does not specify tip amount total nor does it specify the tip amount totals by tender type on the report it self.

  6. Employees logged in with their own log-in information can now see charges by other employees under the same MID #. Please either remove this functionality or allow a quick filter on the sales tab to only view their current sales. It gets very confusing when multiple employees are running charges simultaneously.

  8. In Homebase, automatically calculating the amount the server owes the house should have the option to consider gratuities. This is a huge gap in the functionality of the system for majority of our full service restaurant installs.

    The formula usually goes as follows: Cash Sales - Credit Card Tips - Service Charges = Money Owed to the House.

    As I said, this should be an OPTION.

  9. When it comes to the rewards application, it feels like it was built without ever asking a customer, business owner or really anyone what makes sense for user experience. The requirement to download an app in order to take part in your loyalty program immediately creates a high barrier of entry for a rewards program for the customer. As a business, we understand the importance to growth and revenue these programs can have but those stats don't matter if we can not acquire the member to start. People HATE apps. There have been numerous studies that show it.   10. Before the fall 2022 release, we could select (filter) batches of items and delete them as a group. In the new release, the filter may find all the items we want to delete, but the app forces you to select and delete each one individually. I manage over 48,000 line items. Without a feature similar to the prior version, I will be forced to just let the inventory grow.

  11. The cellular app should show the current device at the top of the list of devices so that the current device can be managed on the device. Also add the nickname and data usage back onto the device so merchants can be sure they are looking up the correct device without having to check the serial number.

    Also add a search option so merchants can search for a different device by nickname or serial number etc. they have without logging in online.

  12. The Tables App urgently needs updating to mke it compatible with the Station Pro. It states that is supported on the Station and Station (2018) but no mention of the Station Pro.
    We deliberately upgraded to the Station Pro from the Clover Mini to get the larger screen but now have a retrograde experience as the Tables App is not supported. We do not need the Dining App as that is overkill for our needs.

  13. The Orders App should always default to clear filters. We have issues with staff not realizing that there is already a filter in place when doing a search.

  14. We are a tourist destination and would like the Clover Web functionality to be extended to Manager and Employee level staff. Currently it is only available to Administrators, yet the icon is able to show up on Manager and Employee terminals. It just doesn't launch. We get questions all the time about directions, phone numbers, etc and I don't want them on their phones. It would be optimal if they could use the Clover Web Application to do these tasks.

  15. Online Order should have a "Reset Prices to POS” when we edit the menu prices. When editing the prices and increasing the percentage for the menu, you are able to add a percentage but what happens if you want to go from say 30$ (uber/ Doordash) to 15%. it adds up to 45%

  16. We are unable to accept multiple forms of payments when checks are split by guest. This creates a large headache on busy nights and difficulty closing checks

  17. Enhancement for Clover Gift Card App --

    When setting up the Clover Gift Card App, enable on-screen prompts for the user so that it prevents them from setting up a secondary gift card entitlement number, causing unnecessary impact to the user. Potential probing prompts on screen, such as:

    1. Do you already have a Gift Card Entitlement Number?

      • If so, enter here ____ - then it would allow user to enter entitlement number, syncing and chaining the location to all other locations which share the same entitlement number
    2. Do you plan to use gift cards at other locations?

      • if yes: prompt…

  18. On the clover app, my patients get a discount every time they get a certain product, however, I cannot send an invoice from the app when a discount has been applied. This should possible.
    Then online, I cannot send an itemized invoice to patients, only a single total, this too should also be able to happen.

  19. I use USB Pay display and it needs an option to disable manual entry of card numbers. Had a customer scam where they pretended to swipe but entered some other card manually and had a big chargeback dispute.

  20. The Gift Card app is currently unable to accept payment via Telecheck Check. This is a customer service fail; customers will not understand why they can make payments for everything else via Telecheck Check, but not gift cards. Please enable this functionality ASAP.
