Welcome to the feedback forum for Apps and the Clover App Marketplace. Please share your ideas for how we can improve the user experience of the Clover App Marketplace as well as how different types of apps offered can be enhanced. We are listening and we use this feedback to prioritize our roadmap.

1. App Marketplace Functionality: Share your thoughts on how the App Marketplace as a whole can function more effectively. Is it easy to find the apps that you are looking for?

If you are providing an idea for a generic category of existing apps (e.g. all loyalty apps), please include your suggestion here.

  1. I am an evangelist. I have people donate to my ministry.
    Some would like to make reoccurring donations. But, the clover app only gives the donator a one-time donation option. Why cant the donators have the option to donate a single time or set up reoccurring donations?

    I understand donators can call me and I can set them up on reoccurring donations. This is counterproductive. The donators should have the option. Please add this feature to the Clover App.

  2. The Tables App urgently needs updating to mke it compatible with the Station Pro. It states that is supported on the Station and Station (2018) but no mention of the Station Pro.
    We deliberately upgraded to the Station Pro from the Clover Mini to get the larger screen but now have a retrograde experience as the Tables App is not supported. We do not need the Dining App as that is overkill for our needs.

  3. Please add Facebook Messenger to the Market, as customers send reservations requests via Messenger from our Facebook page and it would be more practical to handle these on our Clover Mini than on our personal phones.

  4. The Orders App should always default to clear filters. We have issues with staff not realizing that there is already a filter in place when doing a search.

  6. One merchant had an unfortunate situation where a dishonest employee was able to download the app on his phone and gain access to the dashboard. We deleted the employee from system entirely and discovered the email is no longer accepted on the app - this is true if anyone's email is deleted from the dashboard - is it possible to create permissions on who is even allowed to download the app, depending on their role within the business?

  7. We are a tourist destination and would like the Clover Web functionality to be extended to Manager and Employee level staff. Currently it is only available to Administrators, yet the icon is able to show up on Manager and Employee terminals. It just doesn't launch. We get questions all the time about directions, phone numbers, etc and I don't want them on their phones. It would be optimal if they could use the Clover Web Application to do these tasks.

  8. It would be great to upgrade the app market billing emails we send to merchants. One merchant needed an invoice for her accountant. If instead of sending just the email notifying the merchant of the charges, could we instead send an actual invoice, with the GST number and the breakdown, so that accountants and bookkeepers can use it to submit to the CRA?

  9. Merchant had developed his own application for rewards and wanted a way to integrate that application into the clover device so that customers could leave their own feedback and that information be saved into the clover account.

  10. I need protection from disputes paid through our apps. Customer says card not present. I cannot dispute this. I need 3 D secure or something similar. My local bank can provide this. When will Clover make this available?

  11. Make a button on modifiers if they become unavailable like you have for the items. we have 8 dinner sides and sometimes one becomes unavailable. example we run out Cole Slaw but will have more in a few hours..... Currently we have to delete it and type it back in later

  12. Make the register system have a manual transaction pad, lotto , tax free and scratch off button like a traditional machine. An all in one register screen where the user doesn't have to go back and forth through menus. A register screen that shows the items, manual transaction pad, and all other options for lotto, scratch off, taxable, nontaxable, print receipt etc. A one stop screen that lets the user utilize all the functionalities to process all their different types of transactions.

  15. Online Order should have a "Reset Prices to POS” when we edit the menu prices. When editing the prices and increasing the percentage for the menu, you are able to add a percentage but what happens if you want to go from say 30$ (uber/ Doordash) to 15%. it adds up to 45%

  17. ENABLE CLOVER APP MARKET ON CLOVER KIOSK / CLOVER COMPACT.

    The Clover App Market is not available on PHYSICAL equipment Clover Kiosk and Clover Compact. In Puerto Rico we need to download the app IVU CONTROL but because the APP MARKET is not enabled, we can not do download.

  19. On the clover app, my patients get a discount every time they get a certain product, however, I cannot send an invoice from the app when a discount has been applied. This should possible.
    Then online, I cannot send an itemized invoice to patients, only a single total, this too should also be able to happen.

  20. I use USB Pay display and it needs an option to disable manual entry of card numbers. Had a customer scam where they pretended to swipe but entered some other card manually and had a big chargeback dispute.
