You should be able to add inventory items to an invoice and email it to a customer for payment.

I am disappointed that I’m not able to itemize an invoice. I have recurring customers and itemizations are necessary! I switched from Square only to find out that I can’t itemize invoices :(

Merchants request this frequently and the lack of this functionality is a reason they don’t use Clover. Hopefully, this would also show what Inventory items should have sales tax added or not. For example, auto repair: sales tax on parts, but no sales tax on labor. Thank you!

Future release? How much in the future? This idea was from 2021. There could even be an “email customer” button next to the pay button or an option on the pay screen. This one button would illuminate several extra steps for us. Thank you

Even better would be to have an “email to customer” button in the register pay area. Right now, it is double work to scan everything into the clover system, print out the sale - go to a laptop, enter a total and email to customer. Once paid, the open order is deleted in Clover and each item must be manually reduced from inventory!

To improve the invoice with the date that you want to be paid and not the same date you send the invoice, columns for each product being sold, message box to say something for the customers order, to be able to edit the invoice

This invoice product needs to include itemizing for the invoice to send to clients so that multiple items can be listed as sub totals and then the ability to give a grand total.

When creating invoices for our clients we would like to be able to access our inventory instead of manually inputing the price and item name

We have service providers who send out invoices and they really wish a tip feature is added to invoicing.

As many have mentioned previously, integration of items purchased with invoices is very helpful and more professional . Thank you

Itemized Invoice

Not all customers are willing to pay just a dollar amount, they like to know what they are paying for. Wholesale vendors, for example. A merchant can send them an invoice request to pay but the vendor wants to know what is included in that dollar amount.

Ditto! I have several clients that either I got to switch from Square to Clover or are looking to get Clover and they want and need more robust invoicing. Needs to be part of the deal so you match Square's abilities please. (Example: bring in the items in inventory, customers on file (sync between), with pricing. Configure tax, even cash discount program if applicable, etc.,etc). Ability to pay with Clover Mini, Duo or Flex, or e-mail (text would be great as well).

Any updates on this? It's not very complex programmatically.

Having sales information on the Virtual Terminal consistent with the POS terminal would save us so much time.

I used to have Square and I can say that Square estimate/invoice system is far superior than Clover. I will really appreciate if Clover can match the capability that Square has for the invoice and estimate.

I send a lot of wedding and special events invoices and we like to make them with all the details of their purchase. We will like that Clover lest us select the items that we have on our menu to add it to the invoice or estimate, add the quantity needed, add a description, date of service, reminders, the option to make a deposit, the ability to modify the invoice whenever is partially paid. etc.

when you create an invoices it should allow you to add more items in case customer buys multiple items and once the customer receives the invoices allow them to enter tip

The Invoicing tool in Virtual Terminal should have a drop down menu that is connected directly to the Clover Inventory in the register.

1. This will allow the open to invoice to still be seen on register screen with the Orders app.
2. Once paid this will automatically update the Clover inventory and Sales reports

Right now, the way its set up there is really no real advantage for me to use it over any other invoicing apps out there.

This is definately needed I just converted from square and I am shocked we cannot itemize an invoice
