recurring
When creating a recurring payment plan, the "default subtotal" is not clear if it's the total purchase price, or the total the client will pay per month/week/etc. until the total purchase price is paid. Maybe adding "default subtotal per frequency" or "default subtotal for purchase" would help us understand if It's either or.
Also, after having created a plan, using the example above as a monthly subtotal, after adding the client and payment method, instead of selecting a date range, we could have a dropdown box to choose how many payments the client will make per frequency. So if I established in the recurring payment plan creator that my plan is 100 (Subtotal per frequency) at a Monthly frequency, when adding a customer and having entered all their info, I should be able to pick 12 payments (as opposed to having a date range). If the day is important, I'm sure you can add a Day dropdown where we could pick the day in the month payments will be made.
Having this in place will streamline the process to the clients and will be better to understand. It took me nearly an hour between trying to figure it out and chatting with a live agent.
One more thing. On the add a customer page, at the bottom, there is a "Total" and "Subtotal" that both show the same amount. It would be nice, in lieu of it being synonymous (and I can see why one would change over time), that one would show the total amount the customer will be charged per month, and the other, the total amount the client will end up paying having fulfilled the payment plan. So, for example, if I make a recurring payment plat with the "subtotal per frequency" amount to 100. Set the frequency to Monthly. Then, on the add a customer page, at the bottom, instead of a date range, having a drop-down (or a blank field where we can enter a number) for how many payments, and I choose 12. The system would do the math and put there at the bottom 1200 as a total amount for the plan.
I hope this is clear enough to understand. Hopefully changes can be implemented soon. Thanks for your time.
We will need to mark this complete as we are unable to disposition multiple requests in one post.
