Welcome to the Clover Restaurant Forum.  You're here because you are a Clover Restaurant merchant and would like to submit ideas that you feel would enhance/improve Clover's current offerings in the Restaurant space. 

In order to submit your idea you'll need to give it a Title then select the Category that best matches your idea.  Below are brief descriptions of the Clover Restaurant Categories.

Clover Dining: Ideas related to table management and the Clover Dining experience.

Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.
Clover GO: Clover GO is a mobile POS system designed for businesses that need to accept payments on the go.

Hardware: Ideas related to Clover hardware in the Restaurant space

Inventory: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clover’s inventory management software.

Invoice: Ideas related to Clover’s Invoicing feature.

Kitchen Management: Ideas related to KDS, Kitchen Printers, etc.

  1. Why don't you offer an online delivery option for businesses that already have a delivery provider that they pay? For example, pizza shops? We pay to have delivery drivers and we can't use to clover option for deliveries. Plus, the $6.99 fee that doordash or other 3rd parties charge seems VERY pricey. Customers in this town won't pay that when they can just call the restaurant themselves and only be charged $3 for delivery..

    My customers love the clover app because they can accumulate points. I don't want to offer online ordering through another third party app because that's obnoxious.…

  2. Star already supports a printer buzzer (model BU01-24-A) that plugs into the RJ11 jack at the back of the unit. Ideally, we could set this to print to only certain order types, namely online orders that employees wouldn't necessarily be aware of.

  3. The terminal allows you to view open order or partially paid orders but not at the same time. You should be able to check off in the filters which items you would like to see.

  5. I need a negative variable option so I can add Lotto Paid Out and Scratcher Paid Out because using the Pay Out app has too many steps and time consuming. We sell a lot of Lotto and Scratchers and payout winners. It needs to be show up on the register, because we would have to pay the person out first before they can buy more. It would be easier to ring them up at the same time and it would tell us how much they owe or how much they need to pay.

    It would also work with dropping cash…

  6. Please Add The option to turn off the order ticket getting printed when the customer press the button for printing the receipts.

  7. Need to be able to select to recieve and email or text of each transaction when it happens, just like if you send an invoice to someone you get notified they paid it.

  8. Is it possible on the order receipt to have Surcharge information available. With a sit-down restaurant without a handheld device, the order receipt is presented to the customer and then payment is taken. Having the transparency to have the surcharge amount on the receipt to show the total after the surcharge, so the order receipt presented to the customer and the payment receipt when surcharge applies alligns

  10. Why is there a save button if it is gray scaled and you cannot click. If changes are made in real time there is no need for a save button.

  11. Guest screen should have equipment to be able to pivot / spin so that the customers aren't able to view what the counter is ringing in (for example, when another guest's tab is open).
    This wouldn't be necessary if we could instead choose when the guest can view the screen. For example, only view once business hit's "Pay"

Scenario for counter service restaurant: You have multiple guests ordering under one ticket at the counter but when using the register app, order items are unable to be assigned by the respective guests, this causes confusion at the kitchen because order ticket appears to be telling the kitchen staff that there’s one guest placing these multiple orders. My merchant is asking for the option to go into the register app and have the ability to/ function to organize an order ticket by guest identically to how Clover Dining does it.
