BULK EDIT COST
PLEASE , I beg of you to make COST a bulk edit item, not just Price, When entering a long list from a Purchase order it is ridiculously tedious and time consuming to add each item, variants, then price and have to tap back in to every item to add cost. You HAVE to have Cost associated with Price in order to Map a COGS report . I am so frustrated with this.

Date's to Inventory
Are you able to add the date an item was entered (or last updated date) and the last time it was purchased? This is important because it will help monitor items that sale and items that don't sale. If the item doesn't sale then this could help identify what items should go on sale or be discounted. This could also shape the direction of the store and keep movement within the store. This can also help with all the trends that change on social media. This can also help see items that are doing well in the store.

Negative Variable
How about adding a negative variable for certain items. Such as Lotto Winners and Scratcher Winners. We don't want to have to use a Pay Out app when someone brings in a winner. It would need to be a non-revenue item. Most people play again, so why so many steps? I want to be able to hit Lotto Winner as a negative, then a Lotto (same with scratchers) and be done with it. Some have change coming back or some pay more.

Have option to add photo on item listing (not online shopping)
It is my understanding that you can only add a picture/icon to an item/listing if you are selling online. PLEASE add this feature if you only sell in person/brick&mortar. It helps our associates know which item to choose to process at checkout by combining a visual representation as well as a description. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ADD THIS!

inventory reporting
Inventory Reporting is pretty non-existent. I would love to have a report in Clover that shows the current value of your inventory. I have to export it to excel each day and then manually multiply my Quantity on Hand by my Cost and then sum the results. Also when it exports to excel, there is no category so you can't get any reports by category. This is important to most retailers.

Vendor Management within Inventory Please
It would be great we could add vendor management to inventory so it's easy to see what we need to products need to be ordered in one place without having to go through the whole inventory list.

Purchasing Inventory Feature
We are using the Manual Transaction App to purchase inventory in a Buy/Sell setting. Clover does not currently have a purchasing option which causes us to use this work around to feed into our accounting software.
It would be wonderful if there were more features within the Manual Transaction App to allow for us to provide more information on these purchases.
A custom drop down of Payment method, Created by, and Notes would be wonderful
Potentially having the ability to scan existing SKUs and apply cost paid for them. Instantly billing them and adding them into inventory.

Useful features
A few things to make the dashboard easier to work with:
- Although columns in items is customizable, it doesn't save for next login or even if you navigate away from it and return in the same session.
- Infinite scroll on items instead of "show more" would be helpful.
- I often need to download items to a csv file, but I am only able to download the entire inventory. Being able to export items at the category level would be great.

Inventory - Multiple Keyword Search
In the Search bar whether in Register or in Inventory, instead of just one keyword, multiple keywords can be used, and they don't have to be in order.
For example, if you have an item called "dog food", you can find it by typing "food dog"

Bulk Edit Variants.
Would there be a way to edit all variants from a single product at the same time and not having to click into each different variant. It would be nice to be able to edit the cost, price, SKU, tax, quantity, etc all from the same screen. For example, we have products that have over 40 different variants. We have to now go into each one and change all of those items listed above for each different variant. Whereas, if it was all on one screen we would be able to do it all at once making adding and editing…

Being able to upload numerous excel sheets with same category names and different items and not having your previous categorized items overr
I work for local discount grocery store that deals with at least nine different vendors if not more sometimes. While I have never worked with any pos systems before I have found that clover is pretty user friendly but I have found a huge halt in the way I would like to be able to use it. They have A LOT of products and are wanting to use this system to go from a "key each item in" register to a "scanning barcodes" register, which is great, but leaves me with the task to input ALL product inventory information into excels…

Inventory Audit Trail
Merchant would like to be able to see an audit trail of when an item was added to inventory, any changes made to that item (quantities, price, etc.), when items were sold and, most importantly, when an item was deleted from inventory. It would be fine if this functionality was a requested report. Merchant has multiple users with access to inventory and if one user accidentally deletes inventory there is no audit trail to see when that was done and by whom. We thought Clover might have a back end audit trail for deleted inventory items and we were told…

functioning inventory.
Can you make the inventory functional for retailers. Inventory in when we receive product and out when we sell it, This for the most part works right now. However taking a store inventory is important to us. Being able to scan and verify products in the store. Also having a report available for items we didn't scan so we can check if we have the product and just missed it or it was stolen.

Inventory import
The import sheet should not have a separate tab for "category". There should be a category column on the "items" tab so you can easily track which category the item is going to. We have over 50 categories and trying to make sure that each item is where it belongs is near impossible.

Inventory sorting
There needs to be a way to sort inventory other then just by "item name" or "in stock". We have multiple items with no category assigned and trying to find them is near impossible and VERY time consuming.

Multiple inventories
It would be nice to be able to have a single merchant account and be able to run multiple inventories.
Example: Parks that have field day events.
They'll have a device in their gift shop. A device in the ice-cream shop, a device at the ticket booth, and then a floater device.
It would be nice for them to be able to take the floater device to whichever location is busy and only run through that inventory.
Currently, you have to run separate MIDs and have to have an extra device for each MID.

Inventory item view
The previous versions of viewing items on a mobile device made it easy to see stock quantities. You could also choose how many items per page 25-900. Now when viewing items on a mobile device you can only see 25 items per page and only a portion of the name of each item.
Please change the view back so it is possible to see inventory quantities while scrolling through item names. The only way to see quantities is to select each item and scroll to the bottom. Its very difficult and time consuming to do an order. With over 1000…4 votes
