When choosing an option for order numbers You can pick "None", "Automatic", or "Manual". When set to Automatic each device starts at 1 and counts up from there. It great for some cases, but would be nice to have a sub-option to have all registers pull from a "pool" of numbers so no two orders have the same number. This is helpful for a QSR that calls out customer numbers to deliver the order.

Allow a pop up box to type it after applying a custom discount (and/or allow it to be selected as a prompt when creating a discount) to type in the reason for the discount.
If I do a custom 15% off, I want employees/manager to type in why ie "Side was cold".
If I create a discount named "Bar Comp" and its a standard 100% comp, I want a prompt for employees to put in a reason ie "Tonic was flat in customers Gin & Tonic"

Merchants with the Clover Dining app will now have an option to choose to automatically apply a service charge based on the number of guests at a table.
Go to Set Up and Additional Charges to enable this feature.
Future enhancements will be made to include multiple service charges.

Smart modifiers are a MUST if Clover is going to compete in the dining/bar market. There are plenty of systems that support this and Clover needs to figure it out fast. On top of smart/sub modifiers, they need to add buttons for "toppings" that are smart for "No", "Add", "Extra", etc. Setting up multiple tabs for each topping option is clunky and confusing.

Allow setting any Station printer as an Order Printer on any device.
I have 3 Stations.
Bar Corner
Server
Patio
I want to have the Bar Corner station printer be used as the Order printer for any drinks that the servers ring in on the Server station or the Patio station.
Currently I have to place a 2nd printer (Star kitchen printer) right next to the printer that is connected to the Bar Corner station, taking up space. It also detracts from the minimal look that of Stations design.
