  1. In the dashboard, Reporting, Sales Overview, Full Report, I can see "Gross Sales" minus Discounts and Refunds for the Net Sales amount. Can you add "Cash back" amount right below Refunds? So the Net Sales would be Gross sales minus Discounts, Refunds and Cash back. Thank you,

  2. I am not a clover user, but we do gather receipts from our reps who travel and purchase meals/coffees. The email receipts they get from shops that use Clover are unusable. Our reps forward email receipts to our receipts management software which auto-reads them and reconciles them to our bank. But Clover receipts are just emails with a link to a receipt, which cannot be forwarded or downloaded/printed/saved. They are useless. We have been emailing every cafe/restaurant that sends us one of these receipts asking them to please consider an alternative to Clover, as it is just such a silly…

  4. We are in Insurance car rental business and our cars goes out for months long rentals and during the rental if they get any ticket or toll charges we can't charge the card after 35 days, we need at least 90 days pre-authorization validity so by the time cars is back and we can charge the pre-Auth and force payment.

  5. Ability to name a guest in dinning app. Instead of guest 1.guest 2. Be able to name guest 1 (guest 1 bob. Guest 2 jack etc etc. For larger parties with multiple checks. Adding a "note" applies to entire table. Would make this process of multiple checks much easier.

  6. Example if a merchant has an inventory item that is set up as per unit we should also have an option to make the modifiers as per unit as well instead of automatically assuming that the modifiers are a fixed price.

    I have a merchant with a business that do catering services and sometimes a customer would order a plate or a salad 500x for a big event, the clover can only do items with fixed prices up to 99x so because of that the merchant changed the item price to per unit to make it easier since the clover…

  7. Merchant would like to have the option to show on the payment receipt if customers are a current audience or not. If not they are to present with a code to opt in by scanning the code.

  8. BACK BUTTON. New Clover user here, about 2 months in. Staff comes to me multiple times a day stuck in the payment screen. We have to comp that ticket and make a new one and hopefully they remember to put "do not make" so the kitchen doesn't make the food again. Our customers check out at the front register after eating. We split them up by guests. If one pays, we can't go back if the second guest wants to add a cookie or use a discount code. This holds up the line and makes reporting a bit messy.

The problem I have with Clover is that I can't add a delivery fee automatically, you have to do it yourself which isn't efficient in a setting where you are busy and having many phone lines waiting for you. I tried using the tax setting but, every time I add an item the delivery just went up. It would be better if you can add the delivery fee automatically for delivery orders. I don't want to leave clover..

  13. Feature request: Revenue Center Reporting Functionality. Similar concept to revenue class for items, revenue center would have the ability to group certain devices together to form a "revenue center" another option would be to be able to run sales reporting data by "sections" in the Clover dining app. For example, if you have a main restaurant section and a bar section in the basement, would be very useful to have the ability to separate sales and reporting data between the two.

  14. There needs to be a black silicone sleeve for the Clover Flex. The translucent one got irreversibly dirty within 2 days so we had to remove it because it was yellow. Now the back of the device needs to be constantly wiped down because customers keep grabbing it and it turns yellow. There should be a black cover so that the dirt is not visible.

  15. The merchant should have the ability to start the day with a recorded amount of cash, e.x.:

    Opening the day with $300.00 in cash. (5x$20, 10x$10, 10x$5, 40x$1, 20x$0.25, etc.). Then closing the day, logging that there was a total of $X.XX in the register when the day closed.

  16. Currently, one of our retailer clients is using the orders app (“split amount”, then “pay more later”) as their layaway feature. Amongst a few flaws with this process, one major flaw is that it is not a true layaway feature, and the layaway should last more than 90 days!

  17. Exchanges should be able to be made between items of different value.

    If I sell a pair of sunglasses worth $100, and the customer comes back the next day to exchange for a $200 pair of sunglasses.

    The exchange should be seamless instead of a return, then another transaction. I’m sure this is simple coding, and if you would like to start targeting retailers, this is a GREAT first step!
