Notifications for Software updates
Merchant is requesting a feature to allow Notifications to pop-up on the Clover devices that acknowledge any upcoming Clover software updates to be aware of changes being implemented in the system.
Merchants are receiving updates that are transaction impacting and have to learn on the 'fly' or call in for support regarding new changes.

We offer Monthly newsletters, training for relationship managers, as well as updates on our developer pages that are open to the public for review and notice.

Or an email to the owner email that explains the updates to the system and how to documentation for new features. This is especially important for corporate locations that aren't onsite and don't know about the change until someone mentions it.
Completely agree with you. We have 4 POS systems in our business. All 4 had an update done during some of our busiest times; up to 10 customers in one of the lines. Our employees didn't know how to handle what was happening, they thought there was some sort of "glitch" in the system until we finally figured out it was an update to the system. Contacted Clover via chat and even the support at Clover told us they didn't always know when updates would be happening. Updates are important, we get that and appreciate the fact that many changes are made to improve. But at least plan them for a time when they would have the least impact on numbers of businesses.

Notify merchants when updates occur in the system.
Send emails to all merchants of planned updates clover is planning started and finished. When I log into the clover.com platform I find out surprisingly what’s new but there’s no communication with the merchants of all new updates coming so that the clover clients know you are taking care of them and updates needed for them
Currently the only documentation for new system updates is on the Clover.com/help site however this doesn't seem to be always up to date with the latest updates. There is also not a system in place to notify merchants when an update has been released so currently the merchants would need to be consistently checking the Help site just to check if any updates have been released or not.
