Make it easier for customers to process the payment.1) default to location country. I am in Canada and it default to Australia - difficult to enter telephone #
2) use Apple Pay and Google payour customers rather call their order in than struggling with the payment section.

Is there a compatible wireless scanner for the Clover Duo?
Would be great if we could have a list of compatible wireless scanners for the Clover Duo.
Google searched and found that the DS687 USB wireless barcode Scanner might be one, but Clover tech can't seem to confirm this for us.1 vote -
Debit Surcharge should NOT be limited to $0.25 !!
Possibly $1.00 or $1.50 would be more reasonable. I have

Be able to swipe a card, even though it has the tap and chip option as well.
Have the guests be able to swipe their credit card, even if the card also has the tap and chip option. Some guests don't like or understand why they can't swipe their card, I believe this would make guests happy.

Button position on the signature screen
When using the Clover credit card machine, the signature screen has the signing field located at the top of the screen and the Clear and Done buttons at the bottom. This frequently results in customers resting their hand on the buttons. If the buttons could be relocated to the top of the signature screen, this would be a great quality of life improvement.

Adding ACH payment capabilities
As a Church our parishioners will do their sacrificial giving online either through credit card or through their checking accounts.
Currently through the Virtual Terminal I cannot input checking account information to payments.

surcharges
We cannot use contactless payments when a debit surcharge is set on the flex. We need to change the software so that the merchant can add tip, then approve surcharge, and then use contactless. More and more people are using there phones and cannot do payments with cards!

Payment Receipts
I would like the ability to print the receipt at the time the payment is completed instead of having to navigate to the individual transaction afterwards to print a receipt. (I do understand that the receipt can be emailed at the completion of the payment.)

credit card fees
Co-Pricing and credit credit card fees issues.
1. Make it possible for Restaurants to add service charges to individual guests not just to the whole table. i.e. If I want to add a CC service fee I can only do so at the table level, but if I have 2 guests at the table and 1 is paying cash I do not want them to be charged the fee.

Use Gift Certificates as Payment
Need to add Gift Certificates to Tender Payments. Gift Cards are very expensive to buy and pay monthly fees. If we can make our own Gift Certificates than it will safe us small businesses money.

Batch Detail Report. In the Deposit report, allow merchant to click the amount submitted to the bank and view/save/print a batch detail report that lists every transaction and the transaction details for every transaction.

Transaction Fee % in Invoices
We need to be able to add the a % Transaction Fee as some other systems do if they pay with a credit card. Currently had the feature to calculate it bu on the description says Tax which is not tax and will create discrepancy with the real taxes.

Scan to Order should allow customer to pay AFTER eating
Currently the Scan to Order feature which is only available for TSR, makes the client pay for their order BEFORE the order is fired to the kitchen. Not only is this not typical for a Table Service Restaurant environment, the Clover website page for Scan-to-Order implies otherwise.

Printing an itemized receipt from the transactions history.
So many times I have a customer come back asking for an itemized receipt after their transaction.
I go into transactions and pull up theirs, print the receipt but it isn't itemized. It only shows the total, the taxes, and the tip.
We need to be able to print an itemized receipt from the transaction history.

Before your upgrade, the App would automatically send a carbon copy receipt to my email. Must now manually enter my email each time.
Before your upgrade, the App would automatically send a carbon copy receipt to my email. Then I could easily forward to my client once at my desktop. Must now manually enter my email each time, with no way to set up my email in settings. Disappointed you took away a service that was convenient for and appreciated by your customers.

Pop up to notify of partial payment
If the card brands will not allow a partial payment to be declined(example, tab is $50, card only has $30 available), then could you add a LARGE POP UP to notify cashier, server, etc that another form of payment is needed to complete the transaction? This gets missed often, especially in busy environments, but almost all merchants seem to have this issue.

Web Checkout Screen - new field added
We would like to have a field added to the web checkout screen when our customers input their credit card information for payment to us. We create and send out invoices out of quickbooks to our customer organizations. However when customers pay us, only the name of the person making the payment is entered and it is difficult to match the payment to the invoice. Can we add a field to the web checkout screen that allows the customer to input the invoice # they are paying or the business name of their organization so that we can more easily…

The payment note is a configurable field that is available for the merchant to include on Payment Links. This would allow the consumer to include the invoice number as requested

If a merchant has Cash Back enabled, then it would be available upon Debit card transactions. There may be some restrictions based on the merchant's MCC code. If it's not enabled, please check with your agent on the merchant setup, or open a ticket with Clover support to investigate.
