Unbelievably, such a large POS provider doesn't see the importance to business owners knowing what a customer paid for. Payment links only show YOUR TOTAL to the customer instead of an itemized line. Receipts once paid only show the total paid and not what was purchased also. I wonder if we made a mistake switching to Clover!

Invoice line item detail and taxes were supposed to be available last June. We are still forced to use Square for our catering invoices to clients because this option is STILL not available. Please advise on the timeline.

I left Quickbooks and Zoho for Clover. I thought the invoicing feature was going to be better. It's not. It would be good to have the invoicing feature be a TRUE invoice instead of a POS type entry. An invoice would have several line items (rows) we can fill in with things we are charging our clients. Columns would include Unit Numbers, and Unit Pricing, and a Total. Then at the bottom, a grand total of every line items (or rows). Because Clover doesn't have any of these at all, I cannot use Clover and must find other platforms. Too bad, I was hoping to save. But like another commenter said, the savings of 3% is worthless.

Since we are a club and not a retail business or restaurant, our members pay their membership dues online. We would provide them a payment link. When creating a payment link, we have to add the description of the item they are buying, but that description is NOT listed when the member opens the payment link. It just says TOTAL $XX.XX. They have no clue what they are purchasing. Plus after payment is made, the receipt they receive does not have what was purchased either. This needs to be changed.

Would like to have the INVOICE line item on a Hosted Payment Page when the invoice option is checked within the payments section of the clover virtual terminal. Or, an option to add any custom fields on the Hosted Payment Page.
