Inventory In/Out of Stock Total
The current inventory system shows the stock count for each item but doesn't display the total number of items sold or remaining in stock. It would be helpful to add a summary that shows both the total quantity in stock and the total number of items sold for better tracking.
Also, it would be very helpful if new items imported into the inventory were automatically set to 'automatically manage availability' rather than 'manually manage availability.' A more in depth search option for plu merchants like grocery stores
The Clover does not allow for more advanced searching capabilities such as plu for grocery stores which is crucial for business with large inventory and bulk inventory. When My merchant searches let's say 222 it comes up with all items that have 222 in them and the grocery store assistant has to scroll down forty plus options to get to the item. Include inventory listings (to tap on) in the “payments” plan instead of using text. I
I have only one device. For years, I could simply tap on a “description” of the service I was charging for. It automatically generated the category and the price. The feature was free. When I heard that I would no longer be “grandfathered” in at that free level, I was informed that I could still have the feature if I upgraded to “essentials”. Truthfully the increase to $14.95/month or approx $180/year is not worth the feature. Because I can certainly “spell out” the service in text as an option. Have a “print label” option available in inventory screen to allow a barcode label to be printed when a new item
Have an option in the inventory screen, when adding new items, to be able to print a barcode label from Easy Labels. This is essential when new items come in that don’t have barcodes on them. Also, be able to assign a barcode to an item that has no barcodes in the inventory screen.

Being Able to enter Qty by fractions When Adding orders. For example " 1.25 yard of fabric instead of only being able to enter 1 or 2
Being able to enter qty by fractions. For example, We sell Fabric by the yard but often people want it at 11/2 yards or 11/4 yards, ect. It would be great if inventory would track by fractions and also register would allow input of fractions when choosing qty. instead of only being able to chose whole numbers.

New Item entry to be listed in one or multiple locations
I have three locations. If I enter a new item to my menu, I have to enter it three times. Much like the Menu addition to the item, or the Show on POS & Available sliders. Please make a slider on/off type switch that I can add the item to one, two, or all three locations on the initial entry of the new item.

Weighted Items with decimals
Team, The new dashboard version removed adding inventory with decimal places. I buy and sell an item that is by weight and not in exact whole numbers. Please allow adding and removing inventory with decimal places.

ability to stay on item while editing, new update requires you research
please reinstate the ability to edit an item or group of similar items with out requiring to re-search each time you save. new update changed this, before item would stay available to updates on similar items. new update resets the inventory field when saved and requires you to search for similar items again

Allow to copy product images when duplicating item.
It would be nice if an image can be duplicated along with item details. xxxxx does this with a set of check boxes that show up when you select "duplicate" .

upload tax rate file
A way to upload a file for tax rates would be beneficial for the VT merchants that have to manually choose tax rates based on where they are shipping goods. Right now each tax rate has to be manually uploaded if they do not have items.

When entering stock quantities, the staff is able to add more than the amount stocked to check...why? Isn't that the entire reason for adding the stocked quantity?

Zero out existing on hands in inventory
I would like to zero out “on hand” quantities of ALL inventory in order to do a physical inventory of the store. This would allow us to see what items are still at zero after the inventory. We can then decide to delete items no longer carried at the store. We carry 2-3 thousand skus and dead inventory builds up. Maybe have a dead inventory or slow moving inventory report.

Clover needs to have the ability to set up Inventory Price Scheduling.
Many Hospitality/Retail locations will charge different item prices depending on time of day.Inventory should have a base Price and then Price level 1, level 2, level 3. etc.
"Events" or Schedules can be set to use a specific Price level changing all item pricing to that level during that time period.Many merchants do not like having Happy Hour displayed as discounts as that adds to confusion on the ordering and customer receipt side, they want the item price changed for that event/time period only.
