  1. The current inventory system shows the stock count for each item but doesn't display the total number of items sold or remaining in stock. It would be helpful to add a summary that shows both the total quantity in stock and the total number of items sold for better tracking.
Also, it would be very helpful if new items imported into the inventory were automatically set to 'automatically manage availability' rather than 'manually manage availability.' Currently, we have to change this setting for each item, which is time-consuming and prone to errors. Setting all items as automatic will help us…

  4. Have an option in the inventory screen, when adding new items, to be able to print a barcode label from Easy Labels. This is essential when new items come in that don’t have barcodes on them. Also, be able to assign a barcode to an item that has no barcodes in the inventory screen.

  5. Being able to enter qty by fractions. For example, We sell Fabric by the yard but often people want it at 11/2 yards or 11/4 yards, ect. It would be great if inventory would track by fractions and also register would allow input of fractions when choosing qty. instead of only being able to chose whole numbers.

  6. Multiple item pictures. Clover Retail Growth Plan online shopping needs to have the ability to add multiple pictures to each item. Customers purchasing online need to be able to see all sides of the product as well as close-up pictures of product labels. Having the ability to only add one picture per item will hurt online sales.

  7. Team, The new dashboard version removed adding inventory with decimal places. I buy and sell an item that is by weight and not in exact whole numbers. Please allow adding and removing inventory with decimal places.

  8. Create a feature that tracks edits made to an item in inventory, including initial creation, changes to cost, and quantities. This feature is paramount in helping users keep track of potentially lost goods and when Clover POS and Clover desktop was last sync'ed

  9. Clover needs to have the ability to set up Inventory Price Scheduling.
Many Hospitality/Retail locations will charge different item prices depending on time of day.

Inventory should have a base Price and then Price level 1, level 2, level 3. etc.
"Events" or Schedules can be set to use a specific Price level changing all item pricing to that level during that time period.

Many merchants do not like having Happy Hour displayed as discounts as that adds to confusion on the ordering and customer receipt side, they want the item price changed for that event/time period only. Many Hospitality…

  10. It would be nice to be able to have a single merchant account and be able to run multiple inventories.

Example: Parks that have field day events.

They'll have a device in their gift shop. A device in the ice-cream shop, a device at the ticket booth, and then a floater device.

It would be nice for them to be able to take the floater device to whichever location is busy and only run through that inventory.

Currently, you have to run separate MIDs and have to have an extra device for each MID.

  11. When adding product codes to individual items: the current programming has very broad matching criteria. If just 2 or 3 sequential numbers within a product code match, then when either item is scanned, you get a list of items at the POS to choose from. This leaves far too much room for error in ringing up the correct items. It defeats the whole point of having unique individual product codes.

Here is an example. I have 1 item thats product code is 4325, I have another completely different item that has a product code 665570982325, 2 VERY different product codes.…

  12. I would like a way to price items including tax. My example is I charge $4.50 for an item "including tax". Our sales tax is 6%. If I set the price for 4.24 w/.25 tax, it comes to 4.49. If I set price for 4.25 w/.26, tax it comes to 4.51. Is there a way to do that or possibly in the future? Thanks!

  14. most of my menu items have 3 sizes/prices. To save room, I have the item listed, and clicking the item reveals the sizes and prices. This is fine. My issue, is that the item itself shows a price of $0.00. That's confusing and embarrassing. I suggest that if a price is set to $0.00, the price should not show at all. I have several items, so to save space and lots of customer scrolling to find their items they want, this system works best for our online menu. i don't want to have to triple the size of my online…

  15. You should include multiple ways to view your inventory, such as a bar graph so we can quickly see how much we have of each product.

  16. The Clover does not allow for more advanced searching capabilities such as plu for grocery stores which is crucial for business with large inventory and bulk inventory. When My merchant searches let's say 222 it comes up with all items that have 222 in them and the grocery store assistant has to scroll down forty plus options to get to the item. My merchant told me a 20 year old dos pos can do it so a 20th century pos should be able to do it at bare minimum. This is going to lose you business and needs to be…

  18. I have only one device. For years, I could simply tap on a “description” of the service I was charging for. It automatically generated the category and the price. The feature was free. When I heard that I would no longer be “grandfathered” in at that free level, I was informed that I could still have the feature if I upgraded to “essentials”. Truthfully the increase to $14.95/month or approx $180/year is not worth the feature. Because I can certainly “spell out” the service in text as an option. Although no big deal, it was great to have my menu…

  19. I would like to zero out “on hand” quantities of ALL inventory in order to do a physical inventory of the store. This would allow us to see what items are still at zero after the inventory. We can then decide to delete items no longer carried at the store. We carry 2-3 thousand skus and dead inventory builds up. Maybe have a dead inventory or slow moving inventory report.
