Welcome to the Clover Retail Forum.  You're here because you are a Clover Retail merchant and would like to submit ideas that you feel would enhance/improve Clover's current offerings in the Retail space.

Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.
Clover GO: Clover GO is a mobile POS system designed for businesses that need to accept payments on the go.

Hardware: Ideas related to Clover hardware in the Restaurant space

  2. I have a prospect I'm working with who is currently being grossly overcharged by their current processor and looking to move to us. They use Promos often, and wanted to know if they'd have the ability to do so after moving to us.

    I spoke to presale support and as well to the customer engagement team, and they confirmed that when I move the contacts to the new MID, it does not keep them opted in to Promos.

    The customer's opt in to Promos is consent given to the business, not to the MID, so changing the MID should not…

  3. There are many existing filters for reports, except categories. For small businesses categories are important to differentiate sales and allow posting of entries to an accounting program. Adding a category filter to existing reports would be a simple fix and help immensely to ease our operations.

  4. Pick up/ Shipping order notification with QR code.

    It would be good to have a button "Mark as Completed" on some active orders so when the order is completed it sends a notification via text/email to the customer telling them the order has been completed with a QR code generated if it was marked "for pick up" or the tracking # if marked "for shipping".

    When customer comes to the store to pick up we scan the QR, it would open the order and not allow the release of the merchandise ONLY until it's paid in full for partially paid…

  5. Add a button to "re-order" in the customer order history. B2B business would be more efficient and convenient if it has a re-order option. Going to customer profile/orders, you select a past order to see the details and you can start a new order with it as a base. After hitting the "re-order" button you are given the chance to check the items the customer wants to re-order in the new order with updated pricing in the register app, following this flow you can even add another option to "add more items from another past order" (in case the customer…

  6. We need the ability to choose more than one device in reporting. Currently the only options are All Devices or the individual devices. Please include an option to choose which devices to include in a report.

  7. Create an Inventory Valuation Report which shows item, quantity, unit cost, unit price, extended cost, extended price. The report which currently exports to Excel is very disappointing and requires substantial work in excel to obtain the info needed.

  10. Provide option to not show the Tax Percentage Rate on the payment receipt. This can confuse some customers and merchants wants to keep the "Tax" word, but just not the "%" rate.

  11. Add cross-selling reports to find out which products sell well together. This would enable us to offer promotions tailored to our customers' needs. This could be an Excel extract with past orders detailing the products per transaction. For example, column 1: product 1, column 2: product 2, etc.

  12. We are a beach chair rental business on one of the busies most beautiful beaches on St. Thomas, VI. Magens Bay.
    We would like to close Tuesdays and Wednesdays permanently to prevent overbookings. Unfortunately, this cannot be done on the Clover dashboard or app. When we pause these days all of our online ordering is turned off for present and future bookings.

  13. Need a full scale online sales plan for retail businesses. From building an integrated website to automated listing of items on Facebook, Ebay, Amazon, Etsy & Walmart (For canada). Specially the feature to upload the pictures of inventory items on Clover (and from there to Website/Ecommerce Platforms)

  14. Hi Developers

    Through out the Web Dashboard, you have "Print" hyper links for various displayed lists or reports. So getting things printed to my connected PC printer works seamlessly.

    Yet when you go to the Monthly Statements section you have no way to print the list of statements, or more critical, once you open a statement, you have no way to print it.

    I would like to be able to open a "Clover Plan and App Statement" and then be able to click a "PRINT" button/link and get a report.

    There is currently NO WAY to print one of these…

  15. This seems like it should be a very basic feature, but it is super frustrating to not have the capability to enter item quantities of over 99. If I had known this wasn't possible I would not have purchased Clover. However I did not think about it not being available because it is ridiculous. I have had to redo my entire inventory as bulk items and has increased the complexity of orders and really slowed down efficiency and accuracy of staff. I've called multiple times and no staff person at Clover can seem to even answer why the quantities are…

  17. Go back to having a closing reports which summarizes the totals per type of card being printed in the location. Advise customers of changes before.

Businesses need a P&L report that shows a breakdown of the income like on the Sales Overview, but also breaks out YOUR fees between loan fees and credit card fees as it does on the deposits report and COGS like on the item sales report... I have to run those 3 reports 4 times each for a total of 12 reports to give my manager the P&L numbers!! You're already pulling all the data for the reporting, just consolidate it better..

  19. Need to be able to allow over 100 qty for a transaction in a single transaction. We offer catering and when we serve over 100 people, we can't charge in a single transaction over 100 people.

  20. Now clover only provide closeout automatic every day. but for the business that do not have lots of transaction or sometime have a big amount transaction, the business owner want to make closeout manually or can set up the closeout for every 2 days or every week. this is convenient tool to every Clover user.
