Welcome to the Clover Services Forum.  You're here because you are a Clover Services merchant and would like to submit ideas that you feel would enhance/improve Clover's current offerings in the Services space. 

In order to submit your idea you'll need to give it a Title then select the Category that best matches your idea.  Below are brief descriptions of the Clover Retail Categories.

Appointments: Ideas related to Clover’s Appointment software.

Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.
Clover GO: Clover GO is a mobile POS system designed for businesses that need to accept payments on the go.

  1. When doing a transaction report for a specific date, the beginning date and end date must each be selected, which is fine. When switching forward or backward one day, it takes 5 clicks to change the date. xxxx has a left and right arrow that can be clicked to move forward or backward one day. That would be a very helpful feature to have.

  3. We do not use the full inventory system, but we do enter a category (one of 10) for every transaction by using the "Register" app. We have removed all permissions for the "Sales" app. However, there is not reporting option that provides us with transaction totals by "category". We need this option.

    Daily batch reports do not total by category nor is there any report that filters by category. Tech support has told me there is no such option.

    Can you provide this option or is there a way for me to create a custom report with transaction totals by…

  4. Merchant has to pay a percentage of sales to the mall where she has her business and would like an easier way to figure how much she owes without showing on the receipt.

  5. Not sure if this is the case for users that export data to Quickbooks through the Clover app, but as a user that introduces deposits manually in QB it would be very helpful to click on tender type and see how many retail items were sold during a specific time period that were cash transactions and that were credit card transactions. Also the daily batches should have a breakdown of retail items sold and the surcharge amount.

  6. When adding a customized item or tax- allow the total amount to show on the reporting so that the totals match up. the transactions are not matching with the batch totals. Having a more detailed reporting system will help with itemized, detailed individualized line items showing the exact amount including taxes and additional fees

  7. I am unable to see the value of all quarterly recurring accounts. It just shows the number of accounts. Migrating from a previous merchant account where this feature was active. Certainly would help to see the total amount that will be charged to the various accounts as opposed to just the number of accounts.

  9. I have a client that has auto settlement set at 6:16pm PST in FDPOS. The Closeout screen in the dashboard is showing 5:30pm closeout so when they run a sale after 5:30pm, the totals in the dashboard don't match his deposits. Please sync the closeout time in the dashboard "closeout" screen with the auto settlement time in FDPOS. Or allow merchant to adjust the closeout reporting time manually in the dashboard. If the Closeout screen can't be fixed, you might think about removing the Closeout screen completely since it's causing more confusion to merchants than anything else.

  10. Client would like the ability to search items when viewing the items report via the web dashboard, instead of the collapsed columns/ categories interface currently

  11. At the moment, if you have an item that has two categories, you can only filter by the FIRST category that was created when trying to pull Item Sales. There is no way around this. instead you would have to redo all your categories for all of your items if you want to have specific reporting for a specific category. It would be less frustrating to be able to filter WHICHEVER category we would like and not have to edit our entire catalogue and then lose all of the previous data.

  12. Currently there is an option on the hosted payments to add a custom field. I have added it and my clients can now add information into it when they use the payment link. What is not available is the ability to see what information the client has put into the custom field. Without the ability to see that information, the custom field is useless.

    Please add the custom field to the reporting/receipt.

  13. I have several devices and need to see their proceeds every day individually. As is I have to drill into every device individually which is very cumbersome vs having them all listed out on one page.

  14. Please need option on Daily terminal reports for larger Font. New Regular & Condensed Reports on the terminal are great, but Older and visually impaired users have a hard time reading such a small font, as well as older P500's have a hard time printing clearly at that font.Somewhere between current font & font used for "Closeout" would be perfect, with bolding on the section titles.

  15. Client would like to be able to decipher order types via the dining application for reporting purposes. Business Type: Hibachi, instead of the order receipt showing "dine-in", the client would like it to read Hibachi 1 or Hibachi 2, in order to determine which server waited on the table to determine sales and tips, the idea for is for the information to show within the employees reports.

  16. Need to be able to PRINT the following: any payouts or safe drops (any cash out or removal), opening/start amount (any added cash in).. I currently see those transactions in the cash log but I need a hard copy of those occurrences.. I was able to print a a report custom to a specific time period all prior years but as recently June 1st 2025, this feature has been removed. This is critical for employee accountability and for my quarterly taxes & income taxes for this business.. If not corrected I will have to look for another POS system... Please…

  18. The dashboard update this morning terrible. Reconciling all store locations is now very time consuming. Instead of switching from one location to another I now have to acknowledge and save each change from store to store. Then wait while it uploads (very slowly). Not to mention our list of store locations is not in the correct order anymore. With my list being out of the order of our company order - THIS will surely cause mistakes on my reporting process. Not prevent them.

  19. The Sales Overview update is time consuming and is wasting paper. The staff now have to add as you have separated debit and credit - it is still mastercard or visa! You also added the employees to the sales overview - which is not needed as there is separate option to chose that. Unsure what the thought process was on this update, but we will be paying double for the amount of receipts we are now printing out for our accountant. Please keep it simple as that is why we switched to your company.

  20. I am a salon owner, and I sell services (nontaxable) and products(taxable).
    In Reporting, I would like to see the 2 categories separately, and then the total.
