Welcome to the Clover Services Forum.  You're here because you are a Clover Services merchant and would like to submit ideas that you feel would enhance/improve Clover's current offerings in the Services space. 

In order to submit your idea you'll need to give it a Title then select the Category that best matches your idea.  Below are brief descriptions of the Clover Retail Categories.



Here are quick descriptions of each category so that you can easily locate and post ideas in the correct place!


Appointments: Ideas related to Clover’s Appointment software.

Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.

Hardware: Ideas related to Clover hardware in the Restaurant space

Inventory: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clover’s inventory management software.

Invoice: Ideas related to Clover’s Invoicing feature.

Orders: Ideas relating to the process of creating and managing Orders.

  1. Just moved business to clover max and have 14 terminals all linked. There's no option to manually settle machines. You need to wait until they auto settle everyday.. silly.

    There's two auto settle reporting options:

    1. Group all employee sales together under Quick Access and nobody can find what their individual sales were.
    2. Have everyone log in but all 15 machines print 5ft long settlements every settlement including all employee sales on every settlement, 15 times across all machines.

    This is the silliest and worst feature I can imagine, and I've never seen this problem with another company. Possibly annoying enough…

  2. I need you to add a payout button to my device so the employees can see the payouts and it will show on their reports. I also need it to show up on my dashboard

  3. Reports should add up correctly. You should be able to filter it for what you need. But the issue at the moment is the totals on the reports don't add up and we spend days trying to reconcile and balance so we can do taxes. Please fix this ASAP i think a lot of business need this.

  5. Please provide me report for hourly trend sales per monthly basis. I get hourly net sale trend only per day. I need trends per month. Thank you and please respond.

  6. When doing a transaction report for a specific date, the beginning date and end date must each be selected, which is fine. When switching forward or backward one day, it takes 5 clicks to change the date. xxxx has a left and right arrow that can be clicked to move forward or backward one day. That would be a very helpful feature to have.

  8. I have to see the Notes section of every past paid invoice to be able to see which events they've registered for. If I could have a custom report that exported to Excel with the Customer Name, Date, Amount Paid and Notes section (which shows exactly what dates they purchased), I could easily check this data without going back manually through every order receipt (which is the only way to see the Notes section now).

We do not use the full inventory system, but we do enter a category (one of 10) for every transaction by using the "Register" app. We have removed all permissions for the "Sales" app. However, there is not reporting option that provides us with transaction totals by "category". We need this option.

    Daily batch reports do not total by category nor is there any report that filters by category. Tech support has told me there is no such option.

Not sure if this is the case for users that export data to Quickbooks through the Clover app, but as a user that introduces deposits manually in QB it would be very helpful to click on tender type and see how many retail items were sold during a specific time period that were cash transactions and that were credit card transactions. Also the daily batches should have a breakdown of retail items sold and the surcharge amount.

  11. It would be helpful if we had the option to sort alphabetically. I need to input the sales by device into a spreadsheet and the card types aren't always in the same order.

  12. Allow resellers or admin users to make changes to the device name that shows up on the reporting. Currently only the owner is able to make this change.

  14. Please make it a tender option on clover for a debit & credit card total together, EVERYWHERE. If I want a total for credit card (including debit cards) with tax and tips for the day (Daily), I have to get the debit total AND credit card total and manually add them together. I am a bookkeeper and use these numbers for accounting. I don't need a breakdown of credit & debit, just a total, with taxes and tips.
    Right now I use Sales activity> Transactions-the only place I can find tax AND tip breakdown. Please help so Clover gives me…

  16. I have a client that has auto settlement set at 6:16pm PST in FDPOS. The Closeout screen in the dashboard is showing 5:30pm closeout so when they run a sale after 5:30pm, the totals in the dashboard don't match his deposits. Please sync the closeout time in the dashboard "closeout" screen with the auto settlement time in FDPOS. Or allow merchant to adjust the closeout reporting time manually in the dashboard. If the Closeout screen can't be fixed, you might think about removing the Closeout screen completely since it's causing more confusion to merchants than anything else.

  19. Trying to update my reporting based on a reorganization of my categories. Please make the change that past reports can be updated on new categories

  20. My issue is when we pay sales tax we have to report our taxable items sold and also our non-taxable items sold. Your current reporting shows both of these line items, but it does not go any further. I need to be able to select the non taxable items and see how the clover got to the number it did so I can then be able to report it to the government. There is currently no way to see the items that clover added together to get the non-taxable amount.
    I would really like to see the sales tax reports…
