  2. It was brought to my attention that a Clover Device cannot be protect with Clover Care when the device has been re-provisioned. This needs to change. I had a merchant that used a Clover for 2 months and then closed down and I was stock with getting another merchant into this Clover but didn't have the option to have this device protect with Clover Care even though it was within the time frame. Please change this policy.

  3. In the Account & Setup > Business Information > Business Hours:
    It only allows the business hours to close at 12 AM at the latest. Currently, we are not able to put our business hours to close at 1 AM or later.

  4. Recently (past 30days) I've had many complaints from businesses with multiple Clover devices where the devices are not syncing to eachother. This situation manifest primarily when trying to adjust tips on a device, but it isn't showing all of the transactions that the server entered on other devices... even after hitting sync and ensuring that the display is filtered to "All Devices".

  5. Add hospitality plan, including "room management", occupancy, folio#, check-in/out, rate, # of nights, etc.required in order to qualify for hotel processing rates. Call it Clover Staying or Rooms or Accommodations or Hospitality, manage rooms exactly like you manage tables within Clover Dining; you need to move someone from one room to another? it's the same as moving from one table to another. Need to add something to the room tab? it's the same as adding another round of drinks to a seat or a table. Need to split room costs? it's the same as splitting an appetizer or an entire…

  7. Instead of only allowing for test mode only on the station devices, we'd like to have test mode available for all Clover devices. This may need to be something that is associated with the service plan instead of the device if it is tied to the Register app or otherwise use coding from the Station software and input for all Clover devices. This would benefit Clover associates who are conducting device training for merchants and their employees initially and for merchants who would conduct training for any future employees. Test mode on all devices would help prevent any erroneous transactions…

Merchant advised me that Square has option to Select between 4 languages (they can modify which 4 preferred at set up), after order entered, and just prior to accepting payment (swipe), so if they have a 50/50 customer heavy language, they can tap to that language based on what they heard at order, so customer can see instructions, TIP INFO (important!!) when they product card. Part 2 of this, is to have the option for $1, $2, $3, $5, Other or No Tips for merchants with lower tickets instead of percentage. She said Square has these options, and they loose…

  12. Trash the new iphone app and bring back the old one.
    Let me know soon if you plan to do anything about this or if i should plan to just get rid of the clover system altogether.

  14. Happy hour discounts currently appear in the pop up when a staff member wants to add a discount. The whole point of happy hour is so that the employees don't have to manually ring up transactions with discounts for every single person during those hours. Its to reduce button presses, and it works great. But why does it appear in the regular discounts pop up? I mean an employee should never have to press that button, so its effectively useless and just makes the discounts pop up look confusing.

  15. On more than one occasion, merchants have asked for the ability to see the actual Clover screen remotely. They like the idea of seeing the actual screen staffers are keying from other than just the result through a printer or kitchen display APPs. This enables them to more readily monitor staff for dishonesty as well as training if someone is using a round about way to accomplish something that can be streamlined. Likewise, I have conducted some class room style group trainings where having a large monitor to display the Clover screen would have been a big advantage.

  16. We need to be able to offer bundle discounts for multi-location businesses.

    For example: if a convenience store has multiple locations and they run a bundle promo, they should be able to edit the bundle on multi-location and change all locations at once.

    As Clover is now, they have to change each and every individual location.

  17. Our Clover accounts come automatically programmed to have offline mode enabled. This may seem efficient but I believe it creates a bigger problem. Our business owners are busy running their shop and usually just click Accept or OK when prompted and don’t really read the message that informs them the device is offline and they accept the risks.

    I propose Clover should have an on boarding screen during activation that asks them what they prefer, similar to sign on paper screen. Or have the default set to turned off. They should opt in, not opt out of it by default.

  19. The old help.clover.com used to have pictures and videos on it to help merchants or BC to see how to use the device the new Clover.com/help is missing that info
    for example there are no visuals on the Virtual Terminal on Clover.com/help
    having pictures and videos on the self help site would help the merchants more been getting a lot of complaints about that
