Welcome to the feedback forum for Clover Customer Engagement Features. Please share your ideas for how we can update our Clover software to improve customer experiences, increase traffic, and retain loyalty for merchants. Specifically, this forum should only include ideas about built-in functions on the Clover Dashboard (feedback on customer engagement apps should be included in the Apps/App Marketplace forum). We are listening and we use this feedback to prioritize our roadmap.

  1. I suggest that when a merchant is entering a phone number, to prevent duplicating the phone number in the system, or when entering a new customer with an existing phone number can be prevent it by the system as already exist.

  3. Phone numbers are added to customer file with dashes but would like to search without having to enter the dashes. Basically have a pattern search auto insert dashes .... example: 4127891234 and have it show as 412-789-1234 and search for number with dashes for match.

  8. We understand that their name does appear in the notes section of the order tab but often times, we need to use that area for notes and not the customer name.

  9. Merchant is wanting a feature from clover to have the capability to import customers from other POS systems. Merchant is also wanting to be able to look up customer using an ID instead of the name.

  10. Nowadays, we face many customers that are scamming or take advantage in many ways. Customers app should include information if we decide not to serve or warning for these return customers who keep complaining or do many tricks on us. When we add customer, this information will need to pop up!

  12. The merchant would like to be able to search his customers by First and last name and as well by company name. Right now the only search options are phone numbers, email, first & last name. But we are unable to search by company name.

  13. When looking at the customer list on clover.com, I want to be able to sort alphabetically through my customers but there is no way to do this

  14. Since the Station DUO (previously called the PRO) came out i haven't had a more frequently requested suggestion from my retail merchants. Typically if a customer has a phone number or email on file in the customers app the merchant has the ability to select email receipt or text receipt (on file) after the sale. This option is still here w/ the station duo however on the customer facing display the options for email receipt/text receipt will not autofill w/ the customers info on file. Rather if they desire to receive their receipt via text/email they have to manually enter…

  17. One merchant called in looking for a way to filter his customers by transactions - if we could get a new filter added to the Transaction page this would allow merchants to track successful/unsuccessful payments per customer without having to check each individually

  19. Thousands of spam customers were added (not sure how!) and need to be deleted but currently the only option is to do so one by one. They are all from the same invalid domain @example.com so would be very easy to bulk delete. Not sure why this isn't a feature already.

  20. I have a membership program for my business. It would be really helpful if the customer list could be sorted by Surname instead of by first name only.
