Prioritize menu items on order tickets

This setting allows you to sort items on the kitchen order ticket or KDI in your preferred order such as prep time regardless of input order

    This is such a no-brainer! We should be able to prioritize the items on the kitchen printer! Certain food takes longer to cook so please allow us to sort them. All other major POS systems have this option!

    This is something I also need. Been working with a third party app provider, but cannot make it work with Clover Dining. I need my kitchen tickets to print in order of category.

    Need items to appear in a certain order when sent to order printer, such as by seat or priority.

    Prioritized printing would allow you to arrange individual menu items to be printed on an order printer or shown on a kitchen display screen in a specified order. This helps cooks to be more efficient in fulfilling orders.

    There are three possible settings: by pre-determined sort order, by seat number, by input order.

    Example: have all appetizers, or cold food items sorted above the hot food/entree items
