Prompt when Scanned item not in Inventory
In Register App: Merchant wants app to show a notification advising when an item is scanned but it's not in the inventory for Employee roles that cannot add items. Merchant explains that in fast-paced retail environments most employees listen for the beep and move on. This notification would help ensure orders are scanned accurately.

This is a huge concern. Lot of sale has been lost. There has to be an alert sound if the register is not receiving the scanned items.
Will Clover resolve this issue at anytime soon? -

There has to be an alert function to notify the person scanning items that the item is NOT in the inventory. If that specific employee does not have the authorization to add a custom item, the on screen prompt to add the item, won't show up. The employee will think it was scanned and included in the sale, it wasn't, which results in loss of sales.
If we employ visually impaired employees, how are they supposed to know an item was not scanned?????? there is no alert option to notify them.

It is a critical issue. Why would a scanner beep when an item is missed ?

Yes, we have this issue and the loss of sales due to items being missed is a concern. A pop up window or different sounding beep would be ideal for solving this.

Merchant is requesting for Scanner to stop scanning items or give off a different beep when it scans an item that is not in the inventory app
They are requesting this so they do not skip over an item by mistake and give it away for free causing a sales impact
