Retail Issues on Refund/Exchanges
I found it so annoying that Clover has yet to address such vital features within the retail industry - refunds and exchanges. The software is so limiting when it comes to returning an item with a discount, exchanging for another item with a different value, refunding a partial amount (we run BOGO 1/2 sales year round), having refunds and sales on same transaction and so much more that it's hard to continue doing business with it. I hope they get it figured out. Anyone else having these issues?

Hello. This is a retail merchant operating from a clover Duo station but there are issues when generating refunds. We need better REFUND options for retail merchants.
1. There is NO way to do a cash refund on partial items. Example- customer buys 5 items on a cash transaction for $100. Customer comes back to return 2 items, but there is NO way to do a refund for 2 simple items. It wants to refund the entire amount back to the customer. If the merchant uses the PINK refund button, it wants to do a refund on CARD only. Merchants need to be able to do CASH refunds back on ANY individual items that were originally purchased with cash. PLEASE assist here with this option.
2. Currently when a customer comes back to the store to do a refund WITHOUT a receipt, the merchant has to go to the TRANSACTIONS tab to pull up the receipt for the customer. When merchant pulls up receipt, it does NOT show all items originally purchased. It shows summary only and wants to refund entire amount. Please make a retail enhancement to show ALL original items purchased when going back thru the TRANSACTIONS tab for customers who no longer have original receipt.
Can we please have these simple retail needs added for refunds? Merchants need this fix, it is important for them to be able to run cash refunds on individual items, as well as refunds without receipt which will itemize receipts needing to be reprinted for refunds. THank you.
