Lead-time for orders program to allow automated queue wait times as orders increase
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR ALL TO-GO RESTAURANTS: We use the CLOVER order APP everyday. We are now mostly to go with online orders. We need the APP to give us the option of setting customer lead-time expectations based on the number of orders in the queue (all orders must be time sensitive and consider the queue of BOTH orders in-house and to-go..
Specifically, we need to be able to say to customer orders online a auto reply message of when their order will be ready before they hit pay: "If there are 10 orders in the queue (both in house and to go), the time it will take to have the customer's order ready is 10 minutes. For orders numbers 11-20 in the queue, it will take 20 minutes until it is ready for customer pickup. For orders 21-30 it will take 30 minutes until the customer's order is ready, etc. This is a simple fix and absolutely essential for full service restaurants that have sit-down and to go ordering.
Please, Please, PLEASE make this fix. Currently, we have to shut the on-line ordering off when too many orders in the queue are stacked up so that we don't **** off customers who would have liked to know it was going to take an hour to get their order.
