Auto Print Payment Receipts to Multiple Receipt Printers
As the title implies, here's a merchant's scenario:
Their Clover Station is located at the bar area which is on the 1st floor. The kitchen is located in the basement. The kitchen has 2 printers: one is for the order receipt and the other is labeled as a receipt printer for the packager. The packager is responsible for packing the orders and stapling the payment receipt to the handoff delivery bag.
The issue with Clover is that it's unable to auto print a payment receipt especially when you have multiple payment receipt printers set up (Station USB printer and packager printer). You have to manually choose your receipt printers before they get printed out. In a very busy restaurant environment, this process takes too long, and it's double the work.
If we can already set up multiple receipt printers, I don't understand why we can't set up auto printing of payment receipts without having to prompt us every time. I work with different point of sales systems (Aldelo POS & Express, Linga, HeroHome POS, Dinerware), and you are able to auto print payment receipts. Packager receipt printing isn't a new concept.
