Deleting items and orders
Servers need the ability to delete items that have not been fired or saved, but then need a manager code to delete an item that HAS been fired or saved. Currently the only way to prevent this type of theft is to restrict the permission for servers for both. So if a server rings in a "stuffed mushroom" and before sending to the kitchen realizes that it was supposed to be "sauteed mushrooms", she must find a manager to remove the stuffed mushrooms. In a busy environment this is not practical. There should be a permission that only allows the removal of an item if it has not been saved or fired; after being fired or saved it would require a manager passcode THAT IS THEN SHOWN IN THE REMOVED ITEMS REPORT WITH BOTH THE SERVER'S NAME AND THE MANAGER WHO APPROVED THE REMOVAL. I hop this is on the horizon soon please and thanks!
