Offer split check presentment.
Currently to print out split checks where 1 guest pays for another guest you have to move items to the paying guest and the print the bill. This adds unnecessary steps, falsely inflates guest check averages, and causes confusion for management, staff, and guests when evaluating bills. The cash out function allows you to pay for multiple guests on 1 payment, this functionality should be passed on to present the bills to the clients to pay. Split check bill presentment is the norm in restaurants and should be a very basic feature that comes as a default ability. Servers typically print out separate bills for groupings of guests that pay out together. Printing out 1 bill for guests to guess who ordered what is the opposite of the industry norm and not functional.

Hello: When printing a check to give to a customer, the only two options are printing the entire check or splitting it by every seat. How do we select multiple seats when splitting a check? For example: a check with four seats and seat 1 & 2 are paying together and seat 2 & 3 are paying together and they each need presented with their copy of a check to then pay." Currently we need to move the 2 seats to an empty table to do this and when busy it is time consuming. We really need a "pop up window" or equivalent to ask "what seats do you want to print". This is a basic POS function in just about every other POS system I have sold since the late 90's. Thank you.
