Inventory --> Items
This is going to be a rant.
What exactly was improved in the inventory items layout.
If the intention was to ensure that it takes longer or increasing the number of clicks to do something ever so simple, then kudos! You all deserve a gold star.
Now, for users of this POS that have to work with these updates, let's start from the beginning.
If I entered something in the search items field previously, I did not have to hit enter. Now, I have to hit enter.
If I want to edit the quantity on hand (as of course Clover POS does not have a built in back end where I can actually enter and receive purchase orders and no, I am not going to pay for an app for that, I will do it manually), I used to be able the stock count number and be able to edit on the spot. Again, the improvement now is that one has to either click the item, scroll a CVS receipt worth of webpage, you finally get to edit stock count which of course you have to click, then add or remove stock (instead of being able to just enter the new stock total) and then finally click save, but wait....there's more. You need to save again to finalize.
Are you kidding me???
Table columns that actually stay the way you want them to be displayed. Heaven forbid that we can be able to adjust the field lengths to allow the user to see what he/she wants, right. (if you clear your cookies, you need to reset it, I know, but for those who's cookies are a stale as this POS, then I am good.)
If I am on an item list and hit edit on a particular item/items, how about you allow us to edit ALL the fields present.
I am no programmer, nor do I pretend to be. However, every time Clover "improves" something, it is the absolute opposite. Is it bizarro world over there in the caves where you have folks creating this user experience for paying customers?
I am coming off as being less than kind, it is intentional. Whatever feedback people who have to use this program/application/website, etc. is useless. Therefore everything written here will basically be acknowledged at best with no change or ignored altogether.
I use a QB POS 2012 for my backend and it is vastly superior to Clover. Maybe I will go sit down and engineer a POS with my Commodore VIC-20 that will run circles around this. Frankly, there is so much more I can say about Clover from top to bottom about their POS and it would circle the globe.
In the end, what is the d**m (they feel this word is vulgar) point of doing so.
Thank you.

We have used Clover for years and it was incredibly frustrating to have these changes done. I could have been more tactful when explaining my frustrations with these changes. Thank you for your response.
Is there a timeframe when Dashboard 3 is expected to be pushed live? I included a couple of other issues in case no one else has come upon them.
Item list, edit, item name: if you enter any character, the cursor moves to the end of the item name every time.
Items / Duplicate
Item / Click Item Name / 3 Dots / Duplicate ItemDuplicated item is retaining the inventory instead of changing it to zero.
Thank you.

Hi
Thanks for your feedback. An update to Dashboard 3 will allow for direct quantity adjustments from the Item list. You will also be able to search for an item by simply entering your text without having to press enter. All editable fields will also be accessible with an update to Dashboard 3.
