Individualize items on the check, as opposed to X2, X3, etc.
My wait staff complains that when they have a large group and they put items in that are more of something they have already put in ( eg. glass of beer) the items are added off screen and they cant be sure if they have been added or not as they cant be sure exactly how many glasses of beer there were and cant see them as they are not visible. They can be combined on guest check, but on computer screen it is much more difficult..

Option to remove guests form clover dining
Dining app (guest 1, guest 2, guest 3) merchant said the interface is a bit confusing and would like the "guests" fields to be removed

Clover Dining should add a Spill button to keep track of drink that are being dropped
The merchants would like to have a button added or an option that when an item is removed from the Dining app it would ask the reason. For example if a drink is dropped or spilled, that when that item is removed they could select that option to track it.

Food Prep Time Schedule
Food prep time set by the hour or half-hour increments. That way you could set it for 20 mins at 8 am and 10 mins at 10 am.

Merchant currently uses the Clover Dining App for their restaurant. They run a special 24/7 called "Buy One, Get One Free" for their drinks. The drinks are listed as items in their inventory (ex. jumbo frozen lime margarita, draft bud light, tall michelob ultra) and are all categorized and priced differently. When the merchant goes to select two drinks (Jumbo Strawberry Margarita $9.99 and Tall Bug Light $5.99), they would like for the cheapest item to be discounted (free) automatically when selected. Separating Items Reporting by Category
Our facility offers different menus (categories) at different locations on the same property sometimes at the same time. When running reports, it would be helpful to differentiate which items were sold at which location. Currently, the reporting system will only indicate an item in the category where it was first programmed. For example, if bottled water is being sold in multiple categories, it will only report sales in one of the categories. Please advise if there is a solution for this. Thanks!

Log for Clover Dining2
A log is critical for Clover Dining, similar to tables. Who opened the order, time opened, Changes (e.g. Add burger time, add drink times) , time order was fired, ...basic internal controls. Even half of this would be beneficial. It is difficult, even with cameras to track the sequence of POS activity when things go wrong. Process improvement and theft prevention.

Register and Clover Dining Apps Consistency
If a restaurant is using Clover Dining and takes a ToGo order through the non-table orders tab, the final disposition is "Fire All" or "Pay". However, if the order is placed through Register, the final disposition is "Save" or "Pay". Some restaurants find this confusing for servers. If a merchant is using Clover Dining, suggest the experience be the same no matter which app is used to place the order with the Clover Dining experience being the default.

Happy Hour Price can be added to existing order for same price even AFTER happy hour is over
I caught my employees, just adding quantity to existing order instead of a new drink. By doing this they are adding to existing happy hour prices, instead of a new drink at full price. So customers who come in right before happy hour ends, are still receiving happy hour prices as long as bartenders add to it and not ring in a new drink. POS should automatically eliminate and stop happy hour prices since times are entered in pos.....

Remove whole table option
Remove "whole table" option in dinning. It's frustrating when you accident add items to whole table instead if guest.

On Clover Dining, if there is an open order and the server puts in drinks/food would be great if it could turn orange after 15 minutes or start flashing if they forget to fire to the kitchen printer.

Customer Name Display in Clover Dining
We can put the customer name in the 'note' but it would be very helpful if the customer name was able to be displayed in the actual floor plan at each table or seat.

Clover Scan to Order App only takes credit card payments, our merchants would like to see a cash option for those who do not want to pay with their credit card.

Inventory/No way to find if a modifier group was added to a menu item after a specific date
Handle case that we add/remove a modifier group from a menu item and we want to retrieve catalog changes after a specific modifiedTime. Now the above action doesn't change the modifiedTime to items/modifierGroups. So if we want to track catalog changes after a specific date we have to fetch all modifierGroups and their items, and check if an item has been added/removed.

I think that it would be great if we were able to “rearrange” the order and placement of the “menu items” when you are on the “register app”.
i find that this is a big issue.
as you enter new items into inventory, they get placed at the BOTTOM of the menu list…but if this new item is a big seller and the button gets used a lot, i would like to be able to drag it to the top of the screen so i don’t have to scroll down or search for it.colours:

Being able to disable "Food Preparation Time" on certain items.
Thank you for adding, "Scheduled Orders". I was waiting for this. But there are some dishes that require 24 hour notice to make. While the customer is on the webpage placing an order, if they select an item that would need 24 hour notice, the customer NOW has the option to pick "Food Preparation Time" in my case is 30 Min. verses only "Scheduled Orders".
