Reporting more detailed for loyalty/gift cards.
Merchants need to be able to see the taxes collected when a customer pays with a gift card.
As of right now the merchant will see it as a total purchase. They need visibility of what portion of the sale was taxes. Merchants use these reports for book keeping and to assist with tax filing.
Merchants are looking to have all Gift Card reporting combined with Clover reporting so they can use one report for reconciliation and tax reporting

Since Clover recently removed the "custom tender" option to purchase giftcards, we no longer have a way to "buy" giftcards and cover the cost by the shop. We would use a custom tender for giftcards that were given away to non-profits, fundraising events, customer appreciation, etc. IF THE ONLY WAY TO DO THIS NOW is to issue store credit on a giftcard....then that should show up on sales reports under the non-revenue category. That way we have the ability to track those complimentary giftcards.
