Welcome to the Clover Retail Forum.  You're here because you are a Clover Retail merchant and would like to submit ideas that you feel would enhance/improve Clover's current offerings in the Retail space.

Here are quick descriptions of each category so that you can easily locate and post ideas in the correct place!


Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.
Clover GO: Clover GO is a mobile POS system designed for businesses that need to accept payments on the go.

Hardware: Ideas related to Clover hardware in the Restaurant space

Inventory: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clover’s inventory management software.

Invoice: Ideas related to Clover’s Invoicing feature.

Multi-Location: Ideas related to the functionality of Clover's Multi-Location product.

Orders: Ideas relating to the process of creating and managing Orders.

Reporting: Ideas relating to improving and enhancing Clover’s reporting.

  2. Bring Back items list on receipt, not just they paid cash or card. items need to be listed

    Please bring this back, my merchant just started processing today and the Clover rep said you all just pushed an update , taking away items on the receipt. they are considering returning it, that will not work for them 1/22/25

  3. restrictions on discounted items

    We need a way to make discount restricted such as wine tasting due to legalities.

  4. Tip splitting, overriding assigned employee in Reporting

    Our employees work for commission, but sometimes we have a ticket that 2+ people worked on. It would be great if there was a way to assign specific items to another employee who did not sign in at the register, either before the payment or edit it afterwards. Along with that, it would be amazing if tips could be split after the transaction is complete, I think a 50/50, 3 way split, or custom split option would be very useful and appreciated!

  5. Allow users to access certain sites on the clover devices

    We have developed an external web application. We need to allow the users to use the Clover browser to access the site. We would like a permission set up so we can allow employees access a particular website from the Clover device.

  6. Ability to set sales goals by employee

    We need to show employees how much to the goal we set like offered in light speed. The software price went up but along the way critical features are gone or not up to par with other POS systems in the industry. NEED stock count in the app back. This is ridiculous not to have it for retail businesses.
