Consistency across Clover GO and physical terminal
Please make the functionality of the virtual terminal like CloverGo and the Clover website consistent with the physical terminal. For example, I have a price rule for cash discounts where the customer can qualify if they pay with cash or check. This works perfectly on the physical terminal. However, on CloverGo if I choose the check option as a form of payment, it does not compute as being eligible for the cash discount where it should. On the web version, it doesn't even give me the option to take a check as payment, only credit card. I take payments on my phone, computer, and at my physical location and it's extremely inconvenient to have three different versions of what should be the same POS system.
Additionally, the apps that I download for my physical terminal are often incompatible with the virtual terminal which is problematic. For example, I have price rules set to give discounts for bulk purchases of certain items. On the physical terminal, it recognizes these discounts and applies them correctly. However, the virtual terminal on CloverGo doesn't apply these discounts and it causes problems with customers if they pay through there and they are charged more than what they were quoted because there is inconsistency with different terminals.
Please consider creating this consistency as it is an important issue for the operation of my business. It affects the professionalism and reputation of my business if I or my employees are not extremely diligent with the nuances between the different terminals and it would be so much easier if they operated the same.
