Discount After Tax Applied Due to Pennies Going Away
We need the ability to create discount codes to adjust the total amount due after taxes are applied due to the fact that pennies are going away early in 2026. We would like to limit the discount codes to only cash tender type.
We would like to add 4 discount codes after tax (for $0.01, $0.02, $0.03, and $0.04) to officially reduce the total down to something divisible by $0.05 for cash tenders, as the banks are already limiting and/or refusing to provide pennies.

Buy 2 get $x off
Is there a way to set up Clover POS so that when 2 items are scanned, a discount amount automatically get applied to the order?
Example: Red Bull is running a Promo, a single can of 8.4oz red bull sells for $2.99. If customer buys 2 cans of either of the same kind or different flavor, they would get $1 off; 2 for $5.
I know that Clover can offer customer discount where it can be applied at the register, but I don't want my employees to abuse this, and used it on something else that's not Red Bull. If…

Need to allow round up or round down for discounts
There needs to be a setting to allow the retailer to choose whether a % discount will round up or down. As with most retailers, our prices end with .99. Currently, when we apply a 50% discount to an item that costs $4.99, the customer is charged $2.49. If we had the option to round the discount, the customer would be charged $2.50. This may not seem like much, but over the course of a day like today. where we have already applied 332 discounts, the cost adds up. $3.32 per day for a year is over $1,000.00 in lost…

Discounts available on the online menu
We need the ability to offer discounts online. Currently, discounts can only be applied directly on the POS by our employees. We would like the option to make discounts live on the online menu.

Payment Options on Clover Kiosk
Merchant would like to be able for customers to add discounts to their orders or promos from the Clover Kiosk Device. The merchant wanted to run discount for their soft open of new business and provide 20% discount to customer orders he can do it from the pos device but there's no option from the kiosk nor can they add promos.

Rewards % off doesn't work
Your rewards program needs a LOT of work and a LOT MORE INSTRUCTIONS posted. I was able to get a $ off discount to work, but that is not optimal for my type of business. I would like to offer a 5% discount after $100 purchase, but that doesn't work at all. There are so many broken pieces to the rewards "program" I hardly know where to begin. Cash Discount - Editing items
Please add functionality that allows editing the cash discount calculation in the item profile. As it is now, you can only calculate the cash discount price when initially creating the item. If you come back to it, the option is no longer available. This makes adding new items or changing pricing very confusing for merchants.
1 voteThank you for your feedback on our Cash Discount program. You are correct that when adding new items we do offer capabilities to adjust the item price to account for the cash discount rate. However, we don't have a similar experience when changing the price of an existing item to then adjust the same for the cash discount rate.
We are currently reviewing that request and will post a status here shortly. In the meantime you may wish to review our help content on managing pricing for cash discount rate. Our cash discount merchants should be familiar with this content so they can be in full control of managing their pricing for existing items.

Ability to Add/Edit/Remove Discount in Website
Add back the ability to add/edit/remove Discount option on the website version in settings. I noticed it was removed after the update, it was very helpful having that option when I can not be at the location to adjust things.

Need to discount total medispa order rather than individual items.
Need to be able to apply a dollar amount discount to the entire tab rather than to each item. For example, in our MediSpa we have a client how is administered 18 units of Botox. Each unit price is $11. We want to give a $25 discount.
