Zero-Dollar Authorization Support

Clover does not currently support zero-dollar auth request. Due to this, merchants who submit $0.01 authorization requests incur authorization fees and are also subject to misuse of authorization fees if penny auths are not reversed.

    Clover supports Zero-Dollar Authorization, via our Virtual Terminal (Verification transaction type), or $0 transaction at the API. Please keep in mind Zero-Dollar Authorization is an authorization, and still carries an authorization fees. Networks charge authorization fees even for voided transactions.
