A current workaround is to set up one device with counter service (tip on tablet) and another device with tip on paper.

An error occurred while saving the comment Just had a merchant ask about this functionality. There are two cash drawer inputs, so of course, it must be available!
How is this implementation not developed yet? You clearly created hardware years ago to accommodate this feature.

At this time this feature is answered by a third party and will not be developed by Clover.
Our merchants (specifically restaurants) remind us weekly this is a critical flaw in Clover Dining. We've been waiting for a long time and it's getting tougher and tougher to play defense for this missing feature.
We've worked with many POS systems, both legacy and cloud based. They all have the ability to reopen a check before daily batch out.
Please get this going! :)
