An error occurred while saving the comment Mark commentedYou should not able to delete any items after fired those items to kitchen. This is not good feature when you get audited. However, you should able to void these fired items instead of deleting them!
Also, when you void or change any fired items, Kitchen will need to get notified. The order printer should print out with red color and "*** VOIDED ***" header or "***CHANGED ***" accordingly, so our staffs don't have to walk to the kitchen and tell them every times, some things are changed.

Please keep in mind, most owners may not be on site and hire managers or supervisor on site instead. So for owners to track if there is any thing wrong on their restaurant. All fired items should be recorded and with reason. Reasons can be precreated by owners first such as server mistake, customer not show up, customer change mind, too spicy, too salty, and etc. This way, owners can use this information to improve either their services, taste of food, or any customers who always have problem.
