Line separation or spacing options for kitchen tickets
After recent update, items printed on kitchen tickets are not separated with a line or spacing options, making the ticket harder to read when multiple items are ordered. A line between items would make reading easier, especially with modifiers.

Order receipt format options don't work with Star 700 kitchen printer
Order receipts printed on a Star 700 kitchen printer do not follow the formatting options that are selected in order receipt setup. For example, when using a medium or small font, the printed dotted lines always print regardless if this option is selected or not in the setup. Grouping items also is inconsistent based on the font size selected. The order receipt preview does reflect the selected options, but the printer doesn't. Printer Options -Orders Receipts
The merchant would like the functionality of duel order receipts printing automatically. To achieve automatic printing of the order receipt the option currently selected is "print when hitting save" as the merchant does not want customers to pay immediately. adding a 2nd receipt printer as an order printer, forces the merchant to choose a destination for the order receipt which takes away the luxury of automatic printing of order receipts. Is there a functionality that could be added that will allow the receipt printer to seamlessly double as an order, as well as mimic the settings chosen via the order…

An option to print the special instructions on the top of the receipts/order tickets in red that print on the kitchen (order) printers. Just like how the modifiers print in red.

Compatibility for Brother sticky label printers: QL820NWB
The label printer mentioned above provides the same features and more such as wireless, bluetooth, and ethernet connections. The cost is half of that compared to the Epson and has great reliability.

support for epson TML90 ethernet
Received an official Clover TML90. It's actually got an ethernet interface. yet the clover app only supports a USB connection. You support star printed both USB and ethernet, why not a label printer.As we use a label printer as a kitchen printer, it makes sense to have it located in the kitchen some 50 feet away from the pos - not ideal to run a USB cable that far.

Being able to fix printer issues remotely
I should not hve to be at the station to fix printer issues. We have two stations and at one station we don’t need receipts yet there is no way to turn that printer off

Open Cash Drawer/No Sale Button
I would like a button that can be pressed from the register page that will simply pop open the cash drawer instead of having to go to the three dots, select open cash drawer, and input a reason. Too many buttons for when you're in a rush and I don't want to leave the key in the drawer.

Epson
We have recently got Clover Duo systems installed at our restaurants, and existing kitchen printers, Epson TMU 220, are not working, so we are asked to purchase STAR printers. Can you enable Enable Epson TMU 220 printers by adding drivers for these printers into the Clover software, please?
Our Existing Epson TMU 220 printers were working with Aldelo Express POS system and printers were connected through a LAN cable so I am wondering they it is not possible for Clover to add support for Epson TMU 220 printers into their software.3 votes -
Order receipts waste too much paper on larger fonts
The order receipts are extremely wasteful when using medium or large fonts. All order receipts have too much information, and information is repeated.
When medium font size is selected, there are dotted lines and empty space between each item which causes the paper to be unnecessarily long.
While the large font should not have to be used, it is our only option as the small font is too hard to see at a distance for our chefs, and the medium font wastes too much paper. Although the large font is not ideal, it still uses less paper than the medium…
