  1. Business Type: Butcher Shop

    The merchant has scales setup through out the location along with a Brother-label printer. The scales are not connected directly to the clover devices (Scale: Digi SM 5100)

    The merchant would like to be able to weigh an item, walk to any Clover Station at the location, scan the item (Scanner: Zebra DS 2208) the display would show the item name as well as the price according to weight. I advised the Business Consultant, the clover inventory application requires the item to exist within the inventory database in order to show the name, once recognized as…

  2. We have recently got Clover Duo systems installed at our restaurants, and existing kitchen printers, Epson TMU 220, are not working, so we are asked to purchase STAR printers. Can you enable Enable Epson TMU 220 printers by adding drivers for these printers into the Clover software, please?
    Our Existing Epson TMU 220 printers were working with Aldelo Express POS system and printers were connected through a LAN cable so I am wondering they it is not possible for Clover to add support for Epson TMU 220 printers into their software.

  3. I would like to have a tabletop kiosk similar to Ziosk, we do not have wait staff in our restaurant because 1. it is hard to find employees and 2 we like to be contactless when possible. We are currently using QR codes on the tables, but the ordering website is a bit confusing for some. Having a kiosk to put on the tables would be great for our older customers, and and a great contactless way of ordering which is extremely important in this Covid world.

  4. I just bought clover system and it missing a very very basic option. We sell some items by weight in Lbs. But the weight in POS is only 1 decimal and we can not manual punch in less than 1, 2, 3 lbs. Like some time the way of an item is not round figure like 1.2 or 2.4 lb. So we are stuck with that.

  6. Merchant wants to use test mode on their Classic Station like once before to allow a cash order to be deleted when they exit test mode however they can no longer do that. Workaround is Refund payment or open cash drawer without using test mode.

  7. Getting several requests for a extension cord for the Clover 2018 Front Facing printer.... Merchants with limited counter space are forced to make modification at additional expense to use the Clover Station 2018 near or at the counter. I received 2 requests this month due to the Covid-19 situation

  8. Please explain to clover support that just because they don't see a power supply listed as equipment, if the power supply fails on new equipment let them send out a new power supply or starter kit.

    just had a solo and it's power supply fail. They sent a new solo but not power supply. Their response was they don't see power supply listed as equipment they can swap out. This is like who's on first..

  10. I process transactions on a desktop computer and after processing have to go to transactions, search for transactions and print receipt. Would like reciept to be printed automatically on my Lexmark MX511de printer the way FirstData allowed.

  11. Currently, if you swipe, tap or insert the debit card it will not open the Cash Drawer, however if you manually enter the card information it will open.

  12. Is there a way to print a receipt without having to pay for the order? we give our employees the option to pay with their paychecks therefore, we print our employee's receipts and then later on take their receipts out of their paychecks. so is there a way to print the receipt without the need to swipe a card or pay in cash?

  13. It would be extremely helpful if the cash drawer would open for a debit sale. It will open on a credit card sale, but not debit and that is very frustrating.

    You can not add "DEBIT" as a new tender and have the cash drawer open either because that tender will not bring up the screen to pay via a debit card.

    Please please add this simple and easy option or make it universal that any "CHARGE" option payment opens the cash drawer instead of only having a credit card option able to open the cash drawer.

  14. The merchant would like the out of paper/print failure notification to be made more noticeable and intrusive as the current notification is too subtle and they do not notice it right away.

  15. Allowing the merchant to turn off the customer facing small screen on the P550 receipt printer or allowing them to display their logo at all times even when items are being added or not to show transaction items being listed. Merchants have requested this ability to customize this screen more.

  16. Most all retailers, C stores and restaurants need the ability to take cash out of the drawer to pay vendors or send an employee out to purchase supplies and this button needs to be function as a negative button accounting and reducing the amount of cash in a drawer.

  17. When we print a takeaway order via the Register App, we need the option to print 2 copies of the order as the drinks and food are handled by separate areas of the kitchen.

  18. Is there a way for the CLOVER scanner (camera) to be set up to remove the first & last digit on a barcode to mirror their scanner? I have a merchant who wants to utilize their FLEX to scan items but the inventory barcode do not line up because their scanners are setup to only scan 10 digits not 12 but Clovers built in scanner wants to scan all 12 digits.

  19. Can you add the ability for scanners to read EAN +5 scanning ability for some books that the +5 digits can be read to determine issue number

  20. when entering one order for one item with quantity of more than 1, the qty appears on right as well as item number: this is confusing as it prints on "printer order" showing as "qty number" and "Item number" too close together, making it appear as two numbers together
    example if qty is 5 and item number is "1" , it appears as printed "5 1"
    i think the item number should be on left before item name
