Remove Order Paper App and / or Restrict Access
It appears the Clover Flex now has an "Order Paper" app, that can not be disabled / removed / and or restricted via user access permissions. The clover system updater constantly adds this app back to the menu, even if you manually uninstall the app from from the machine itself (even when using an admin account to uninstall the app) If my understanding is correct, this would allow any user (including highly restricted employee level users), to order paper. And these charges would / could then be applied against the merchant account itself, or the merchant account holder's credit card. Couple of things here = We (account holders / admins) need to option to remove and/or disable this app completely. Two = We also need the option to restricts access to this app, via user account permissions and levels. Something like this shouldn't happen or be allowed, where an account holder / admin, can't stop or prevent these charges against the merchant account.
I am reaching out to our teams to confirm, but we do believe this has been corrected.
