Automatically Select Credit when Card is Inserted through the Payment Device
On the register app, the merchant needs to select tender, but some customers inserts their cards in the payment device such as mini on Clover Duo before the merchant makes the tender selection. We need a way to close a drawer during a shift that only batches the drawer we are closing!
For instance, I have two pos Stations with the same MID #. If I count down or close one drawer to start a new shift, and batch it so someone else can use it, It also batches the other drawer at the same time. There is no way to separate one drawer from the other.

Order Inspector App to Support Clover Kiosk and Clover Flex
The app made by Clover, called Order Inspector, does NOT support the Clover Kiosk or the Clover Flex. We are asking Clover to make Order Inspector available on the Clover Kiosk and the Clover Flex that are widely used devices.

once additional fee is added from the registrar, having the option that only a manger could remove it
we add additional charge as a "bottle fee" would like the ability to block employees from removing the fee, only a manager should be able to remove,

End of day icon for balancing registers that is not tied to REPORTING.
As it stands, DAILY SALES figures are only accessible in REPORTING. Therefore, employees that balance registers have full access to company sales figures for the entire year and beyond. Access to yearly/monthly/weekly sales figures & sales reports should be limited to owners/senior management. Clover needs an END OF DAY icon. It should have a filter for ALL REGISTERS, REGISTER #1, REGISTER #2, etc without having the ability to see weekly, monthly, yearly figures. This needs to be addressed ASAP. Tax Exemption Tag for Customer Accounts
Customer accounts should be able to be tagged as Tax Exempt so that we don't have to be reminded every time we ring a particular customer up - especially when we are selling to companies and schools with an exemption.

Retail Service Plan
Have a Service Plan specific for retail, which don't include all the restaurant apps and functionality. Retail would focus more on inventory, online/in house sales functionality.

Accounting sync improvements
This new accounting sync is a great idea but in the setup in sale-accountant section it needs to either have the option to customize the categories according to what you have or than it should automatically list them according to your categories that are setup in your clover device.

Reporting for Multi-Location needs to be inclusive of all reports, not just sales summary
Ability to run any report on the Multi-Location Dashboard
Right now we can only run the basic sales overview reports which is not helpful in trying to manage inventory, people, etc across multiple locations.
1. A critical report would be Sales by Item by Location by date that includes quantities, transaction/order ID, item name, discount, employee.
2. A report with Inventory by location in one report with the ability to see all items across all locations with any variance in cost, price, modifiers, categories, labels, revenue classes. It's very difficult when trying to sync items across locations to have to…1 vote -

Audit Logs to Track POS Config Changes (Setting changes, additions, deletions)
It would be great to have admin capabilities to view audit logs of who added, removed, or updated a backend setting. Recently our business had a tax change made that cost us a large sum of taxes missed during transactions that had to come out of our business revenue as a result. These logs would allow us to see who added a new tax, when, and the specific user responsible for the addition. This will allow for accountability for these types of actions, but also to help understand when potential issues first started.

On the register in the reporting section, they show a basic sales report. We would like to run an hourly sales report at any point in the day on the register.

Extend the “remember this device for 14 days”
It is time consuming to go back and forth to get verification code, especially at busy hours. In a rush one may forget to select the option to remember for 14 days. It is also possible to switch from one device to another. It would help if the 14 days can be extended to 30 days.
The security that comes with the verification is greatly appreciated.

Discounts
You can remove the standard discounts and add your own in "Discounts" in the Clover dashboard which is great. But, when you are clicking order discount on the register it shows the discount you created as well as two custom amount and % options. We want those removed, and only want it to show the discount we have created.

Voide tickets
Busy dining multiple section restaurants need the ability to print void tickets inside the kitchen as well. Current software is not allowing us.
Example-
Customer ordered 5 items from different 5 stations for dining services. Now customer changed his mind and he want to cancel 1 item. If staff will cancel that item kitchen should get void ticket with thats particular item. So they will know they don't have to make this item anymore.Current system is only reprinting the remaining items. Its not useful.
If its not in next upgrade we are switching back to square.

Better options for Corporations with multiple Clover locations
Clover needs better functionality for corporations with multiple Clover locations such as:
- detail sales reporting for all locations
- user roles across all locations
- ability to set up a location without being onsite with no variation of what is on the website and what is on the device (currently there are apps that show up on the device but not on the installed app on the website, same with set up features like display time out, etc).1 vote
