Log Out After Transaction

On the Terminal Software, while we can checkmark the box in setup to "Log out after transaction," it will not log out. On traditional credit card terminals we had the option for a Server ID. On the Mini we must use Employee Pins, but if someone forgets to lock the screen after their transaction, or needs to attribute the sale to a different server- it is a hassle. If the log out feature functioned on the terminal software, it would be a start at resolving this issue.

To have your servers automatically logged out after completing a transaction you'll need to turn on 'Log out after completing payment on each order' found in the Payments setting of your Clover Dashboard.

    I would like my Clover Flex terminal to automatically log out after the server hits DONE and completes the transaction. Otherwise, another server can pick up the terminal and perform a transaction under the other server’s account.
