Cashier mode in Clover Dining
Requesting the ability to use Clover Dining in Cashier mode. This would allow a cashier to collect payments for the servers and subtract the credit card tips from the "cash due" in the Payments report.

We have the same problem but only with Flex devices (which change the tip to the person logged in the Flex). Clover Minis and Stations do not do this, they leave the original server the same.

We have a similar situation. Servers use Flex devices to take orders at the tables. About 50% of the time, the customers get up and go to the counter to pay, rather than pay the server directly. As it stands now, they have to wait until their server is free to come take their payment. Otherwise, the end-of-day reports are off.

We encountered a similar issue with a restaurant diner type merchant. The servers enter the customers' orders on clover minis located throughout the restaurant. When the customers are ready to pay, they are directed to the cashier counter. The manager or owner completes the payment on the clover station at the counter. The clover system can only apply the tip to the person logged in to take the payment.
