having multiple POS becomes almost useless in a busy restaurant as the the order numbers don't come out in order and sometimes even duplicated. I was a nightmare and our customer service took a big hit due to it. There is no way for you to tell the customer "our duplicates order numbers" which is the reason why your order was given to someone else.

Two Cash registers. First Register (or Tablet) places 3 orders then the kitchen see's order number 1, 2, & 3. The second Register (or Tablet) places 2 orders afterwards and the kitchen should see orders 4 and 5. Not: 1 and 2 . Both registers should be in sync with each other and print to the kitchen order in sequence base on time stamp of the orders. (sequential order)
