Our customers use the comments box in an attempt to add items onto their order for free. Our very busy staff doesn't have the time to differentiate between real mods and comment box mods. Sometimes the customers actually get green things added onto their order. We are a bagel shop so a large percentage of our online orders are Build your own. Almost all of the pricing is in the mods. Not having the option to disable the comments box is probably going to be the final thing that makes us switch to a different system. Clover please fix this!

We sell standard pre-packaged items during our special events and when instructions option is visible online, they ignore the statement "no modifications" and state their custom request anyway which leads to customer frustration and disappointment when they don't get it.

I am having the same situation and have been looking all over for a check box to turn it off

We are currently using clover. But cannot accommodate to the special instructions. And we keep receiving food orders with them. Is there a work around for right now

This is the only thing prohibiting us from using Clover online ordering. We cannot accommodate special instructions. Please have it as an optional feature!!
